I was wondering about this. My inlaws cat, MooMoo, would never let anyone pet him or play with him, he was kind of like the Godfather of the family. Just sat on his perch above us and looked down on us all. When my mother in law got sick before she died, MooMoo started sitting in her lap, after NEVER doing that before. He was 14 at the time. I think he knew she was terminal, and her time was near, before any of us did.
Does anyone else have a story they wish to tell, or opinions they wish to express?

Animals sense things long before we humans do. I think it's because they're in the here and now, why we tend to live for everything but the here and now. They have dogs now trained to alert people to oncoming seizures and the like. I think it's a very interesting topic in all.
