Here's a few from folks who ought to be respectable literature, but aren't:
For God's sake, after we have demolished all the dogmatisms a priori, let us not of all things attempt in our turn to instil another kind of doctrine into the people. -Pierre Joseph Proudhon, in a letter to Karl Marx [boy it would be nice if the Marxists had had the sense to listen to this advice]
Anarchy asserts the possibility of organization without discipline, fear or punishmentand without the pressure of property. -Emma Goldman
They (the Marxists) say that such a yoke, the dictatorship of the state, is the inevitable but transitional remedy for achieving the maximum liberation of the people... We answer that any dictatorship can have only one aim: self-perpetuation. -Mikhail Bakunin

Anarchy asserts the possibility of organization without discipline, fear or punishmentand without the pressure of property. -Emma Goldman Does it? Seems to me I can look out my window and watch a fairly good demonstation of why this is wrong. Local groups of idiot hard cases when roaming the streets cause all sorts of mayhem. Only need 2 of them to make a hell of alot of noise. Only needed 1 to walk up and steal my sisters boyfriends bike last night. And all because they have no discipline, have no fear of punishment, nor respect for authority or property. And the only way these idiots have been kept within reasonable line lately? (Bar the bike incident) By turning round and decking one of them. So when anarchy rules the only way to stay safe is to fight. (and with no gun laws most likely kill) I think I'll stay with governments for all their damned stupidity I find putting up with them less of a worry than walking arround wondering if I'll have to shoot a man today or if he'll put a bullet in me. I'm not realy sure if debating the articles posted was what you had in mind. If you merely wished articles posted say so and I won't comment on future articles. Challenger

Challenger Go ahead and comment, but the main intent is to be a quote list. But the rules are there are no rules until the mods get involved. Please note that the quote says anarchy asserts the possibility rather than inevitability or probability.

The song itself I could take or leave, but I just love the image in this quote. It's absolutely beautiful.
Close the door behind you Turning out the light Press a flashlight up against the wall You say this is how we knew him, in a little egg It opened up and this is daddy now
Now you’re stepping back towards me Til the room is bathing in light And the answer there before me There’s no ending when we die

When I'm lyin' in my bed at night I don't wanna grow up Nothin' ever seems to turn out right I don't wanna grow up How do you move in a world of fog That's always changing things Makes me wish that I could be a dog When I see the price that you pay I don't wanna grow up I don't ever wanna be that way I don't wanna grow up
Seems like folks turn into things That they'd never want The only thing to live for Is today... I'm gonna put a hole in my TV set I don't wanna grow up Open up the medicine chest And I don't wanna grow up I don't wanna have to shout it out I don't want my hair to fall out I don't wanna be filled with doubt I don't wanna be a good boy scout I don't wanna have to learn to count I don't wanna have the biggest amount I don't wanna grow up
Well when I see my parents fight I don't wanna grow up They all go out and drinking all night And I don't wanna grow up I'd rather stay here in my room Nothin' out there but sad and gloom I don't wanna live in a big old Tomb On Grand Street
When I see the 5 o'clock news I don't wanna grow up Comb their hair and shine their shoes I don't wanna grow up Stay around in my old hometown I don't wanna put no money down I don't wanna get me a big old loan Work them fingers to the bone I don't wanna float a broom Fall in love and get married then boom How the hell did I get here so soon I don't wanna grow up -Tom Waits, "I Don't Wanna Grow Up"

I took her out, it was a Friday night I wore cologne to get the feeling right We started making out, and she took off my pants But then I turned on the TV
And thats about the time she walked away from me Nobody likes you when you're 23 And are still more amused by TV shows What the hell is ADD? My friends say I should act my age Whats my age again? Whats my age again?
And thats about the time she walked away from me Nobody likes you when you're 23 And you still act like you're in Freshman year What the hell is wrong with me? My friends say I should act my age Whats my age again? (whats my age again?)
And thats about the time that she broke up with me No one should take themselves so seriously With many years ahead to fall in line Why would you wish that on me? I never want to act my age Whats my age again? whats my age again?

I was a young boy that had big plans. Now I'm just another ****y old man. I don't have fun and I hate everything. The world owes me, so **** you.
Glory days don't mean **** to me. I drank a six pack of apathy. Life's a ***** and so am I. The world owes me, so **** you.
Wasted youth and a fistful of ideals. I had a young and optimisitic point of view. Wasted youth and a fistful of ideals. I had a young and optimisitic point of view.
I've decomposed, yet my gut's getting fat. Oh my god I'm turning out like my dad. I'm always rude I've got a bad attitude. The world owes me, so **** you.
-Green Day, "The Grouch"
[I'm not a fan of the way it turned out with automatic censoring, so am voluntarily substituting *s for offensive four letter words that will curve your spine, corrupt the youth of America, and bring us peace without war]

I love words. I thank you for hearing my words. I want to tell you something about words that I uh, I think is important. I love..as I say, they're my work, they're my play, they're my passion. Words are all we have really.
We have thoughts, but thoughts are fluid. You know, [humming]. And, then we assign a word to a thought, [clicks tongue]. And we're stuck with that word for that thought. So be careful with words. I like to think, yeah, the same words that hurt can heal. It's a matter of how you pick them.
There are some people that aren't into all the words. There are some people who would have you not use certain words. Yeah, there are 400,000 words in the English language, and there are seven of them that you can't say on television. What a ratio that is. 399,993 to seven. They must really be bad. They'd have to be outrageous, to be separated from a group that large. All of you over here, you seven. Bad words. That's what they told us they were, remember? 'That's a bad word.' 'Awwww.' There are no bad words. Bad thoughts. Bad Intentions.
And words, you know the seven don't you?
...
Those are the heavy seven. Those are the ones that will infect your soul, curve your spine and keep the country from winning the war. -George Carlin

You tell me that you've got everything you want And your bird can sing But you don't get me, you don't get me
You say you've seen seven wonders and your bird is green But you can't see me, you can't see me
When your prized possessions start to wear you down Look in my direction, I'll be round, I'll be round
When your bird is broken will it bring you down? You may be awoken, I'll be round, I'll be round -The Beatles, "And Your Bird Can Sing
