What are some of the things you used to do when you were a child before video games became so popular? My friends and I would go out and ride bikes, play hide and seek, tag, dodgeball, play house, hopscotch, swing on homemade swings, jump on the trampoline. Some of the TV shows I used to watch were Land of the Lost, Electric Company, Sesame Street, Happy Days, Mash, the old Star Trek movies.......gosh I feel so old now............ My how time flies...............

I remember those days...
I was a LEGO freak. I didn't get the kits and follow the instructions, but I'd make my own little fleet of spacefighters using my own imagination. I had dozens of GI Joes, and my brother and I used cardboard boxes to make forts for them, which were then seiged by our other toys in all its fury. I'd go out biking with my friends; making up games along the way, play on my neighbor's trampoline, or simply play board games. Life was SO much better back then. Oh yeah: they got me into role-playing too (back in 5th grade!). My first RP was something I made up with a friend, where we'd draw a level of a "dungeon" on a piece of paper and try to make our way through it. Great fun. I still have some of my first ones, too ^_^

During the summer I was never home, I was out either riding my bike, roller skating, or swimming. We built forts in the local woods, dressed up and pretended we were rock stars, or Charlie's Angels. usually protecting the rock stars from the bad guys... Would clean the entire garage for no money at all, so that we could play house, or have massive slumber parties out there, complete with frozen training bras and shaving cream. ;D
