Four more years of Bush............. Being one of the Americans whose husband got laid off from work, and lost healtcare for my children because of this, and cannot afford healthcare for them now, as my state says my husband makes too much money to get them enrolled in state healthcare..........even WHEN he was on unemployment mind you, it saddens me to no end this man was reelected. How sad for our country. I thought we would elect someone who would have our country's best interest in mind. I didn't think we would re elect a man whose only worried about Iraq, and war on terrorism. I don't care who you are, you CANNOT win the war on that. If we do manage to get rid of Bin Laden, what's to stop the next terrorist group from emerging, and God help us when that happens. We will be fighting that war on our soil. My only hope is for those of you who voted for Bush, you do not have children in high school who will be old enough within the next four years to go fight over in Iraq. I have a child who will be 19 years old when the next president is elected, and I know he will end up over in Iraq fighting a war that should have never been started. So thank you Bush supporters for giving him that future to look forward to.

I'd chalk it up to media influence and the way religion has constantly influenced America. A lot of people don't even see past the fact that Bush is a born-again Christian. And for another thing, look what I dug up

Now, to be fair, because I've blasted Galadon time and again for the same thing, dropping in blatantly biased reports and trying to claim any sort of moral high ground is pretty difficult. When an article uses phrases like it's pretty hard to take them seriously.
While I have heard similar rumblings about the lack of knowledge in Bush supporters, and certainly the ones I've spoken to online have shown an appalling lack of knowledge on foreign issues, it doesn't help anyone to call them a bunch of names and think that they're going to suddenly queue up behind democrat banners.
The main point that has come out of this election is the fact that the Democrats failed to supply a credible alternative to Bush. If Kerry was the best they had to offer, that's pretty sad. While I would never support Bush for a number of reasons, running on a anti-candidate platform is generally not a good idea. In other words, just because I dislike him doesn't mean that I'll vote for the other guy.
On another note though, I think it's pretty telling that an absolutely garbage candidate like Kerry actually made the race as close as it was. Let's face it, Kerry's record was pretty bad. And he was not going to appeal to mainstream moderates by campaigning as the anti-Bush. He still managed, despite all his failings to make this a dead heat race. That says more about Bush than it says about Democrats.

Well, no offense meant, but you, American people, made your choice. Personally, as I have already told you, I don’t really care about who’s sitting in USA President’s chair, although I hoped that you could chose better then that. Oh well, let’s wait and see, perhaps Bush will do the world at least some good by dealing with Bin Laden (assuming that Bin Laden is an actual person, not a long dead man who was made into an idol) and his Al Qaeda, although personally I don’t see it happening (it is said that “Partisan war can be won only by the partisans”; call me a pessimist, but I think that it also applies to the war of terror). Either way, the choice is made and now I just hope that Bush won’t make anything terribly stupid in his next four years, like starting more bloody wars (I know this is unlikely, not to mention politically unwise, but IMHO you can never be 100% sure with Bush; for some reason he doesn’t seem… erm… “entirely stable” to me).
