Ok so I'm looking over some stuff tonight for the chronicle and what might help people that don't know much about Vampire. So as I find good resource sites, I'll post links. This link will give you a list of all the different types of Vampires there are. There is no explaination of any of the discs but this seems to have all the general information on each type. This is an important process for those of you who don't know the clan types, read them and choose wisely on which one that you'd like to create. Personally, I think this time around I'm gonna play some out of the ordinary vamps..= D Good read! vampire49.tripod.com/clans/index.html

That previous post had a link that indeed has plenty of information on Vampire...I didn't see the little thing on the bottom that said to click it if you didn't see the frame on the left. >.< -blush!-
Here's another link for ya to check out.

I like it so far, when I get a place for the game I will include certian threads like that one. Also For now I will set my limets here, then have them posted in rules.
First off I will allow all Cam Clans except for True Brujha, and Gargoyles. I will allow Caitiffs, and Independents, but only certian ones. A normal Assamite I will allow, I do not want to deal with an Assamite Sorcerier. So here is the list I will allow.
Also we are in the Week of Nightmares, other then that, everyone post what type of game you guys want to play.
[The ones with a * beside there names, E-Mail me about your character concept if you want to play one. My E-Mail is lifestar@yahoo.com.]
[Camerilla] >Caitiff [Snake food is welcome] >*15th Gen Thin Blooded >*Tremere >Ventrue >Brujha >Malkavian [/li][li] >Gangrel >Nosferatu >Toreodor >*Antitribu Losambra [Maybe, I would not care for them in my game.] [*Independents][Maybe, you don't have to E-Mail me] >Assamite >*Giovanni >Ravnos >*Fallowers of Set
Generation 9th-15th.. But here is how that goes aswell, you are new, play anywhere from an 11th-13th Gen Neonate. Everone else can play whatever they feel confertable to, except an Elder. E-Mail me about playing a 9th, or a 14th and a 15th Gen.

So you're saying you're -not- going to allow Salubri, Daughter, or any of the others that were from other books like the Story-tellers guide, the Cam book nor the Sabbat book? o.O
-wonders slightly-
I only ask this because as a vetern, and someone who -doesn't- pg...I'm honestly needing to play something a little out of the ordinary.
Unless you just want to leave that part to me? = )

How about this. Salubri are ok. I did not have anything on them, but since you gave that sight I could use it. I want no Sabbat in the game reallly though. Sabbat are NPC's so if you want to through a couple in now and then its ok HeZz. Since your a vetern I will let you handle the RAU [Rare and Unusial].
Also HeZz to help me out if you play a Camerilla Clan, play an Elder and take a posistion of somesort. I want to know how many points an Elder starts out with.

I'd like to go for a Malkavian char. Before I send you the stats, are there any traits you're not allowing or limiting?

Akay, I don't care if people want to play out of the ordinary types, but no Ba'ali. That's my only exception to the rule. And I definately don't mind playing npc for stuff. = ) I'll make an elder Ventrue. My only reservation is having a Malk Prince. -.- Lol, but whatever floats ze boat. I'll send you stats on my chars. Are you using any of the dl-able char sheet generators? And if you are, lemme know which one so I can figure out which type to send you. = D

-hm, elder points.-
Well, let's make it an additional 50 points when creating a char from scratch?
I think that's more than fair.
9th gen minimum right?
No abilities higher than five?
O.o?

8th and 9th Gen are Elders. If someone can send me a good background for an Elder it would be 8th Gen.. [Sorta like the LARP I am in.]
For Elders Backgrounds and Discpilines can be at 5 starting a new character, but 3 for everyone else.
All traits are welcome I guess, I personaly like the Malkavian Clan Book, and for more ideas go to the site HeZz posted here.
No Baali is fare, no Sabbat ether, although I do like the Kiasyd, but they are not allowed. Shame on your for thinking it.
Once others have postend ideas for where we should play the game at, We will start playing, but I might feel up to the idea of letting go my old game...

Ok as far as cities go for Vamp, I think we should do something new and fresh, something that isn't so -run of the mill-. Philly, Dever, Miami, Austin, Nashville... We could take it a step further if you wanted and move it to a whole other country. Australlia, Africa, England... Depeneds on what everyone wants. Who needs a character sheet generator? O.o You people that say you want to play...I need to have some kinda idea as to how long you've been playing...if you know anything at all...how much you know...so I can assess the situation. Also if we can't get enough people who have been playing long enough to understand the basics, I'll talk to some of the people that used to play with me in Babylon and Carpe Noctum. I'm sure they'd be happy with fresh meat. I'll post my elder characters stats tonight here so that you can get a good look at how things should start out. I will also post a new character so that things are fair. I've got an idea for a plot, but I'll have to catch up with you later to talk about it. Jayce...Are you ever around? O.o I have off tomorrow, x-mas, and the day after...gimme a time. ~HeZz

*raises hand* Newbie!
I guess I'm not a complete newbie because a while ago my sister's ex left a V:TM player guide over our house and I got to read through it, but that was a while ago and I never actually played a game. Though, more recently I played the computer game based on V:TM (Redemption). So, basically I'm familiar with it, but have never played a real game. And I recently managed to get access to a couple of the sourcebooks so I'll read up on it again over my Christmas vacation.

Ooh, Europe sounds good. Maybe somewhere more classical, like Italy or Spain would be nice IMHO.
I'll go with Aasimite here. I've not finished reading the rulebook so I'm not entirely sure about this - though aasimite are confined to the Middle East by their treaty with the Camarilla, do they still appear in other parts of the world?

Yes, thats what you call America... No one cares. Plus when one does come from the east, the Camerilla gives any independents, even them Tolerance. I hope I am right on that.
See when a Vampire is Embraced and is apart of the Camerilla they are under there sires accounting untel they get achnowledge buy the Prince. Independents however Embrace, then if there good for awhile they become Tolerated, sorta like a treaty saying we respect you if you respect us.
