It's been confirmed working on! (Source: http://www.warbucket.com) It seems they've already released screens here: www.the-magicbox.com/game092903b.htm Schweeeeet. There seems to be a movie trailer floating around on Bit Torrent as well, but their servers are down ATM so I couldn't check it out. I'll see what I can do during the day and keep you all posted.

Now this I would like to see! The first one was good for a movie, but I kept waiting for Sephiroth to step up and show everyone what a bad guy was! He's just cool!

I've always wanted to see that setting made into a movie or a TV series. Red XIII and Vincent are some of my all-time favorite characters. You think the English version will cast Mister T as Barrett? ;D

Why do movies always get released later in the UK?

Why do movies always get released later in the UK? I think part of it has to do with the UK film censors making sure the rules are followed. I know that a lot movies that get released in the US don't get to the United Kingdom for that reason. The other reason is to help build up hype. "Number #1 in US Box Office Sales" or whatever can help sell a film. Of course, this also works the other way. There are some things the UK censors permit that we don't and oftentimes a US distributor will take a look at film from abroad after it has done well in its home market at bring it here.

FFVII: Advent Children, set 2 years after the game, the clips I have seen appear to be dramatised memories of Cloud, Cloud walking through the Church, Cloud Fighting Sephiroth, driving the motorcycle, etc. But nothing concrete of the actual story, other than telling us (assuming here), what happened to Earth after the meteor. In a recent interveiw, one of the team suggested the location for the film is hidden in the logo, the logo looks to me like a planet, with a huge Space station type outpost hanging out from it. The 'Planet' also looks alittle like a peice of Materia? As far as I can gather, Earth has been left in some kind of 'locked or dormant state, survivors living on this huge outpost, obviously that would lead us to a struggle for power, the presence of evil, Good vs. bad, a love story hinged on there somewhere, and the explanation of the end on FFVII. Sounds good huh? Maybe I'll even take a shot at guessing the script when I see the full official trailer.
