"Hey! What does a guy hafta do to get a cold one 'round here, heheheh?"
Ignitius has noticed his glass is empty, and he's starting to get annoyed. However, soon the barkeep comes back.
"So, where's me booze? Eh?"
The bartender whispers something in the mad mage's ear. He crosses and uncrosses his eyes, then looks over at the table where Crista is sitting.
He turns back to the kid who asked about the thieves' guild. "I thinks you want that table over there, heheheh...", he whispers, indicating the same table.

Lady Winter Wolf:
*The girl took the rag, picked up the pitcher and ran towards the kitchen, all the while repeating, "Oh thank you sirs, oh thank you sirs". Hildy came out carrying another pitcher of ale, but this she placed on Crista's table, along with a platter of meat and roasted potatoes. Crista did not glance up, her hand only reaching out for another piece of fruit from a nearby bowl.*
"Boy" *Tarvic said to Kyle* "Don't be keeping the mistress waiting, if'n you dunna want to end up a eunuch" *He reached under the bar and then handed a bottle of red liquor to Iggy* "I know ye'll be wanting this, and yer better eat the food with no complainin' this time. Now git."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
*The little serving wench came running back out, this time carefully watching her footing. She made sure to fill the tankards of Oskar, Elkharn and the stranger, then asked each one.* "Anything else sirs? Something to eat perhaps?"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*One thought momentarily went through Crista's mind, "Where in the Nine Hells is Keely?" before she went back to her stealthy perusal of young Kyle.*

Kyle slowly stands up and flicks his shirt to puff out slightly and looks at Crista's table.
She looks harmless enough... still Ive been here long enough to know even the simplest looking peasent can cause some dire wounds...
He walked slowly over to her table and held a friendly hand out yet it seemed stiff like it could dart up and away in a moments notice.
"So are you the recruiter?"

"Well if ya actually COOK th' food, ye'll be getting no complaints from me, heheheh...", Ignitius says as he swipes the wine from the bartender's hand and replaces it with a handful of shiny copper coins. He unstoppers the bottle and takes a big swig, after which he belches loudly. With a staccato stagger suggesting his sloshed state, Iggy saunters over to the table. With a careless flop he falls into a seat, blithely sticking his feet on the table as he does. He's careful not to stick them in the food already on the table, for it would be quite the hassle to wipe the resulting gunk from his boots.
"So, how's it hangin'? Heheheh..."

Lewd Beholder:
after what seems like an eternity, Keely popped out from behind the secret passage, her crossbow by her side.
She immediately reaches for a turkey leg, grabbing off the roast and devoring it in a most unlady like manner.
When she is done, she daintily wips away all residue of her exploits.
She then calmly walks out from the kitchen and has a seat at the table.

Lady Winter Wolf:
"Nice to see you too Iggy. I'll be needin' your assistance soon enough. That is if'n yer up to travelin' with me and my own once again."
*Crista noted the arrogant tone in young Kyle's voice, and thought, "definite chip on this one's shoulder", but only said to him* "Recruiter? If'n yer looking to join the king's guard boy, this ain't the place fer it. Now don't be playin' no games with me, that is if'n yer want to get outta here in one live piece. What do yer want?"
*Crista barely nodded in Keely's direction, but Keely should know from that nod to keep the boy in her sights.*
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*The young serving wench understands the stranger, but she also understands that the Inn is governed by the Guild, and to betray them in any way would mean her life. Biting her lip, she nods at the stranger, and makes her way round the room again, refilling tankards from her pitcher.*

((Arrogance?! Arrorgance?! I'm trying my best to keep all my limbs and be cautious!))
Kyle's hand slowly dropped and his face became more calculating.
"Whatever tricks your trying to use to fool me will not work... I am not here to join the royal guard... I came to join your guild... What do you require a test? Is that it?"
He tossed a chair up into the air and as it began to fall he lept into the air beside it and used a scisors kick to tear the legs and the head of the chair off before leting his legs drop and land before it and hammered the seat with his fist shattering it to slinters... The exersise had him in sweat from the concentration required to pull off such a feet but in his own mind he had prooven his skill.

Elkharn looked at the wench. "Yes, more ale please, and some roasted chicken."
He scanned the inn, and noticed a few new players on the scene. One woman who looked like Crista, a member of the Guild. And the dwarf that just entered through the kitchen... that must be keely. Elkharn wondered if the drunken mage was Ignitius DePyre. Oh, yes, he knew all about these people...
He didn't recognize the arrogand lad demanding entrance into the Thieves Guild... with his utter lack of subtlety, he'd never get in. And if the lady talking to him was who he thought it was, well, she'd seen a scissor kick do a lot more than break a table or two in her time. Elkharn ought to know; his half-sister Akhillia was one of the people who adventured with Crista...
Akhillia had no love lost for Crista, but Elkharn might enjoy her company a little more. He always was the black sheep of the family...

After a time the black clad figure raises his hand to signal the barmaid.. When she arrives.. he says to her..
"Tha' woman at the table just there.. Send her another of whatever brew she's drinkin'. I suspect this 'ill cover it.. and give ye a nice tip asides."
He hands her a 2/3 plam sized emerald.
"If'n she wants ta know who sent it.. just tell her it's from a friend.. though it's ok to indicate where I am.. "

Kyle notices that everyone is plainly getting the wrong impression of him and this guild was nothing more then a joke as far as he was concerned... He turned and made his way out the door not caring about formalities or whether or not someone tried to throw some atomic doom blade into his back on his way out the door.

(OOC - I will ignore the above post by Treva until he and I work out whatever difficulty he is having with his character. I, for one, thought it was going in a good direction to get "Kyle" into the story. If it is not straightened out by Wed morning, when I come online again, then I will do the next post without Treva's character involved.)
(OOC - Problem seems to be worked out for now, so lets continue)

LWW:
*During young Kyle's demonstration, Crista was able to glance by him and notice a somewhat familiar face on a man sitting at one of the tables. She didn't forget faces easily, but she was remembering a woman, a most annoying wretch who was more interested in shoe shopping with her than in cleaning out the once monster infested old Guild house. At that moment, the nervous serving wench came running up with another bottle of fruit wine in her small hands. She leaned down, whispered in Crista's ear, and nodded toward the stranger's table. Crista took the bottle, patted the girl on the head, and sent her away, but not before telling her to ask the man to her table.*
*In an offhandish voice, she said to Kyle* "Oh do stop with the nonsense and sit down in a chair like a human should....and you now owe Tarvic ten copper for that chair, and he doesn't give credit." *She waved at hand at Hildy, who came to her quickly* "The man sitting over there" *indicating Elkharn* "tell him to come join me here, and get the dwarf too. Where we're going, we could use a good underground dweller."
"So Iggy, what do you think of our young Kyle here, hmmmmm?"

Kyle stops for a moment with mixed feelings now seeming to well up inside him... He had been foolish enough to show himself to the theives guild and that he knew of their location... To leave now would mean his eventual assassination. He turned towards Crista.
"I'll stand thank you... sitting is something I have never really enjoyed..."

The loony magician takes another gulp of his booze and belches loudly.
"Yer gonna steal somethin' again, aren't ya, heheheh... It doesn't take a badass weezard like mes to figure that one out, yes indeedy. Well, of course, yer a thief, and thiefs steal stuffs, right? Heheheh... (hic)"
Ignitius finishes uncrossing his eyes again just in time to remember something.
"Oh yeah, th' kid that can breaks chairs with 'is feet. He says he's called Nightwing or somethin' or other. Wouldn't happen to know anyone by that names, would ya? Seems awfully familiar for some reason, heheheh..."
