Moving the idea thread from Planet to here. More to follow. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lady Winter Wolf:
The Guild of Thieves - Eye of the Goddess
Before starting this adventure I need everyone to please post a description of your character here for reference purposes. Make sure your character is 7th level, 1e or 2e based....NO 3e, epic levels, other gaming systems than DnD, and NO MUNCHKINS. There will be no XP, so don't even worry over leveling up, this thread is for role playing and having fun. One minor magic Item per character to start; you may pick from the following: scroll, potion, +1 weapon, +1 shield if applicable (remember, you can only pick ONE of these).
I will be the DM, and playing my character, Crista Nightwing (elven thief/assassin). Basically, I will make a post and expect everyone to post once appropriately to the situation. After everyone makes their post, then I will post the next situation, and state also if the actions taken by your character had effect or not.
Since I am the DM, my decision will be law....any problem with that, complain to the DM. Oh wait, that's me. All OOC talk should take place on this Brainstorm thread.
This adventure will primarily be taking place outdoors, until we get to the Hidden Temple, a bit of dungeon hacking there, and back outdoors again. Guild members will be sent to find "The Eye of the Goddess", a brilliant diamond 4 feet in diameter.

Lady Winter Wolf:
Somehow I have the feeling that Kyle and Crista are going to find themselves "related" at some point.
Get over to the RP thread and post your intro Treva.
((((((((((((((((Treva)))))))))))))))))
I'm very happy you joined me on another Guild rp.

Omni Wyvernil:
I'd bring Iggy in, but he'd be a little too powerful for the campaign (he was about LV 11-12 in the last Thieves' Guild thread), and he's a sorceror, a class which doesn't exist in 2nd Edition (the specified system for this game).
My main experience with DnD is in 3rd Edition. My knowledge of 2nd ed. is pretty much limited to Baldur's Gate (the PC game).
Just wondering, is this intended to be a more serious or humorous campaign? This might help me with a character concept if Ignitius proves unsuitable for this campaign.
(Note: If I use Iggy, I could get by with changing his class to 'wild mage' for the purposes of this campaign [if the sorceror class is unavailable]. Also, his high level can be offset by his unpredictable insanity, like in the last thread.)

SSD Quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Magic items: ring of protection +1 (in lieu of a shield since I can't use one as a mage?)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lady Winter Wolf:
No good SSD....read my opening post here. Magic items allowed are one only of: scroll, potion, +1 weapon or +1 shield.....NO rings of protection.

Lady Winter Wolf:
Omni, the adventure will be like the last one, serious but with lots of comic relief. I adore Iggy, but we might just have to tone him down a bit. Only allowing one magic item (see list) to start....can you work with this?
Lewd darling', welcome aboard.....you too Arryk!! Post your intro post on the rp thread please.
SSD, fix your magic item, and post your intro on the rp thread. Thanks bunches.

Kerap:
Thanks for the link to get me here Lady Winter Wolf I'm in, but now who should I bring? Perhaps Elizabeth Fairburne, the beautiful paladin that's the daughter of a great paladin - oh and she can't cook. Or maybe good old, lusty Geoff the fighter. Or perhaps Krondar the egotistical Illusionist. Or even Lady Keris, the ill tempered, elven archer. Any requests? I'm working a lot of OT for the next two weeks, so my posting will be limited.

Lady Winter Wolf:
Kerap, you are adorable always....whomever you choose will be a great addition....just follow the rules - hehe.
Don't worry over posting too much, only one post per character after each of my posts. That way we won't go too fast, and have people getting lost, or struggling to catch up.
So pick yourself, and post an intro on the rp thread. ((((((((((((((((Kerap))))))))))))))))

I sent you a PM about this. I may have to scrap the character and go back to the drawing board depending on your answer.
