Gemstone and Greghoul didn't meet yet. Greghoul was in the first GoT adventure, started in the 2nd, but then disappeared. He was an apprentice of Crista's, but due to unforeseen circumstances, needed to leave the Guild and go out on his own. But from Crista's initial response to his appearance, I should think that everyone would not be too quick to jump him. Shades' character Keely was in the 2nd adventure, so should remember Greghoul as well.
Now as to Iggy......who knows what he remembers - lol.

For the record, Ignitius has seen Greghoul before. He's commented before on the idea of a half-angel, half-devil in the second GoT thread. He doesn't mean any harm by it, he's just amused by unusual things. I'd say a devigel is pretty unusual (since there's apparently only three of them in this world). Besides, the thought of putting celestials and fiends together in the same room is pretty entertaining to the genasi (unless he's in the middle of the mess). What WOULD Ignitius' reaction be to hearing about a fight between a devigel and a dragon? Gamble on it, of course. He's a lunatic, so he bet on both sides, which really won't give him anything anyway.

No one could be as bad as that ill tempered dwarf. Well, except for Lewd Beholder.
Blade, you're in the same situation as Gemstone......Greghoul was already gone by the time Avana got to the Guild. You may have heard rumours of him, or not......the interaction between Avana and Greghoul has been great.

Is it just me, or did that staircase seem to appear before the door leading to it was opened? (I'm assuming that the staircase was in the passage opened up by the dagger) Now you'll see why Iggy seemed so confused. That and he's a crackpot. BTW, we're in the home stretch now, right? That gem we're after's somewhere in this dungeon, I'm guessing. Unless there's some sort of plot twist and Clenna's goons are already here. But of course they'd need another dagger to get in, right? And I'm guessing from the talk of rotting corpses that there's going to be some undead figuring into all this somewhere. All that and Iggy's without his fire 'cuz of the explosive methane gas... Uh-oh...

Is it just me, or did that staircase seem to appear before the door leading to it was opened? (I'm assuming that the staircase was in the passage opened up by the dagger) The way I read it, it sounds like LWW tried to save us some time by skiping the part where we "try to figure out how to open the entrance",... and just went straight to "we opened it"... BTW, we're in the home stretch now, right? That gem we're after's somewhere in this dungeon, I'm guessing. Unless there's some sort of plot twist and Clenna's goons are already here. But of course they'd need another dagger to get in, right? As far as I know you are correct on all three counts... And I'm guessing from the talk of rotting corpses that there's going to be some undead figuring into all this somewhere. From what LWW explained, and Crista said I can only assume that we are going to be fighting some undead... and probably a vampire too... hope someone else has garlic *evil grin* and *Drifting up from the darkness, the fetid scent of decay causes Crista's stomach to heave. Covering her nose and mouth with the sleeve of her tunic, she mumbles back to the others.* "Lets be hoping that the dead we're smelling don't have a mind to be getting up and chatting with us. All that and Iggy's without his fire 'cuz of the explosive methane gas... Uh-oh... Well, whether or not the gas is there, is not absolutely certain, only an educated guess based on certain facts... Rotting corpses (ones that are not specificly prepared) release methane gas during decomposition,... In confined spaces (like tombs) these gases will drift aimlessly about... Even small sparks (like from clashing swords) could set off the gas... During ancient times, many grave robbers (not too intelligent ones) died because they carried torches into the tombs that they would find... Methane is colorless and odorless, so there is almost no way to know whether or not you are standing in a pocket of it, however... the production of methane gas is not solely dependent on the decomposition of organic matter, it usually requires the carbonization of coal as a catalist material also, but other forms of carbonized gases will work also... so it was VERY common... (This part may sound REALLY silly, but is completely true) Just as an example of how common methane gas is... Every living creature has it within them... when it comes out, we call it a... *fart*... Yes, I know, it sounds silly, but it is true... if you hold a lighter up to your butt when you fart, it will ignite. Ok... anyway... It really isn't up to me... LWW is the DM, not me... So there may not be any gas down here at all... I was just being cautious, and since my sunrod doesn't use fire, it just glows brightly, I thought that it would make more sense, so I offered to let the group use it... That's all...

Iggy's still got a few more tricks up his sleeve, in case the methane gas prevents him from burning up all the dead blokes. And if there is a vampire down here, Iggy did recently serve a short stint as a spice merchant... You figure it out. Heheheh, wouldn't want to give away too much too early...

As far as I can tell, right now, the only ones who are posting are Iggy, Keely (Umm, sort-of), Avana, Crista, and Gemstone...
(I thought that Keely was sitting on one of the steps in the passage at first... As far as a target goes, maby she shot the door thinking that it might disarm the trap?...)
I'm not sure about Greghoul... It has been virtually a week (6 and a half days) since LWW said that we entered the passage to the temple, and even though he just joined us, He hasn't posted any action for us being inside the temple yet...
Also, am I correct that the characters Alyssa, Alera, and Garth are supposed to still be with us, but their players are all MIA... or did we leave the characters behind on the outside when we went in?...
I just want a status check on where we stand as a group...

No word from Alera, so don't know what's happening in her world. Garth's got major real life things to deal with right now. Alyssa *shrugs* who knows? Until I hear different, I'm going to assume that Alera, Garth and Alyssa are staying in the clearing while the rest: Gemstone, Avana, Crista, Iggy (and his fairie dragon, Juju), Keely (if she can manage to READ the posts) and Greghoul are now down in the dungeon.
If real life gets too demanding, or should I say, a lot more demanding than now, then I'll contact everyone to let you know if I'm locking this rpg up or not.

How do you do it? 40 pages! It's almost enough to overload my sences! Anyways... Any room for the ultamate power player in your came LWW?
