And then Temir and his companions saw a group of creatures approaching them. Among the creatures, there are three dozen and the three small squat humanoids with blubbery, almost heirless bodies; three even smaller winged creatures; and one large wingd creature, which looks like a cross between humanoid and vulture.

"Greetings, Master" said vulture-like creature in the common language "I am Drazeel the Vrock-Sergeant. I, as well as everybody in here, have been summoned from our abyssal home to serve you, by the one, whom you call Demonic Wizard."
Vulture-like creature spoke respectuflly, but not without smoldering anger. He had a hardleather belt warped around its weist, with pair of scimitars, light crossbow and pair of quivers of crossbow bolts upon it. He also had a steel collar around his neck, Temir noticed, that all of the creatures have such collars around their necks. In one of his hands, creature hold a simple steel ring, which he offered to Temir.
"Take this ring, Master." contined Drazeel "It will allow you to communicate with all those who is marked as your minion telepathically, and vice versa, it will allow us, your minions, to communicate telepathically with you. But it will work only for as long as we are within 3 or less miles from eahc other."

After thinking for about a minute, Drazeel continued "Your army consist of thirty-six Dretches-Soldiers, devided into three squads with dozen Dretches-Soldiers in each of them. Each of the squards is commanded by a Dretch-Corporal, each of whom has a little more expreience in actual fighting, then common Dretches-Soldiers. These Dretches are your main army. Apart from them, you have three quasits: one of them with no particular skills and useful mostly only as a simple messenger; one of them has little scouting skills; and one of them has little spying skills. And of course, you have me, I can serve you as bodyguard, second-in-command, elite soldier, or whatever else you will think for me."

Temir stood in front of his troops, he turned to the women. This gets better the more we come back to this world He turns back to the troops. Putting on the ring. He waves at Drazeel to come up and stand at his left side.
I am Storm Lord Temir Serpentar, a cleric of the greater deity Talos. You will adress me as Storm Lord or master Serpentar. Sgt Dazeel will be my second in command. I know that the ring communicates telepathic, but there is a reason I speak with words. So our enemy the elf vermin does not know this at first. I will use tricky, deception and brute strenght to achive the goals of the Demonic Wizard and myself.
pointing at the women. We are from the world of Toril. Do not think of our lack of knowledge of this world as weakness, we can learn. Creatures who believe I am weak will find that mistake s a painfull one. If any one entertains the thought of betraying me or killing me to improve your postion, remeber this my deity Talos does not like his cleric killed and will teach the offending creatures a painfill if not fatal lesson. I did not become a Storm Lord of this experience by making foolish choices. But if you do succeed in killing me, there is nowhere you can hide from a greater deity. These two women will be going on a separate mission for me. Once they leave you will forget ever seeing them with me. If you meet them on the field of battle do not kill them.
I will give orders to Sergeant Drazeel, he will give orders to corporals who will order the soldiers. This is the chain of command everyone will follow it. If anyone does not understand the orders given, then make sure you ask to make them clear. I do not tolerate bad mistakes.
First order of business, Sgt Drazeel we need a commnad base and a map of the different areas. knowledge is power. The Quasit mesenger will stay with me.

As Temir finished speaking about chain of command, he nearly felt invisible string of magic coming out of his ring to Drazeel and three Dretches-Corporals. It seems, that his words about chain of command were much more then the mere words...

"I thank you, Master Serpentar" says Drazeel, bowing his vulture-like head.

"I would like to add" continued Drazeel after a short pause "That your idea of using telephaty is a brilliant one, worthy of the greatest abyssal lords. Also, though you certainly know it, I am obligated to mention, that pathetic Dretches are unable to speak normally, so we can communicate with them only telephatically. I beg your forgiveness, Master Serpentar, for telling you what you already know. Please, forgive me."

"And if you would like to hear my opinion about finding a base for your army" continued Drazeel "I would be most glad to speak out whatever poor ideas I have in my mind. Though I have no doubt of your greatness and intelligence, even the greatest of all may sometimes find some use for the opinions of their lessers."

This is part of the deception, if the vermin don't know about the dretches ablitiy not to speak or understand common, they may waste time trying to speak with them. Since you never know about divination or spy's we will talk to them like they understand. Do not make the commands to difficult. Now it's time to find a command base.
Temir turns to the two women. Leave now and find the vermin. Study them at first and then find a good time to begin your mission.

"If I understood you correctly, Master Serpentar, you would like to listen to my humble suggestion." says Drazeel "Though I don't know much about these lands, I believe we have a two most obvious options opened before us. First, while I and the rest of your army waited for you in here, I ordered to make a little scouting of the surrounding area. There are a series of caves to northwest from here, and I believe, we can use them as temporaly base until you will think of something better. Second, we can choose to strike into vermin terriotory immediately, and establish our base there; through pain, suffering and death of pathetic vermin who will be stupid enough to oppose ryour greatness. I believe, they have a few fortified towns at the border line, and locations of at least three of them are known to me - Forestend, at the northwestern edge of the forest, bordering to the plaines; Talltree in the middle of the forest; and Riversburg at the forest, near the river. Capturing either of these towns will both provide us with a good enough base and will proably won us the favor of the Demonic Wizard. So, what do you think we should do, Master Serpentar?"

"I do not know these lands well, Master Serpentar." says Drazeel "But I believe that both Talltree and Riversburg are equally close to our current location, about a month of standard march to be precise."

Temir used the telepathy, Quasit ranger and scout come before me. I see use for both Talltrees and Riversburg, but I required more information.

In a few moments, Quasit-Scout appeared before Temir.
"Ready to serve, Master Serpentar!" said Quasit-Scout to Temir telepathically.
