[OOC:] "I activate Rary's Epic Spell Storage epic spell, which I previously casted upon myself, which in turn brings three others spells upon myself: Protection from Good spell, Rary's Universal Resist Elements" spell (its effects are similar to that of Resist Elements spell, with exception that Rary's Universal Resist Elements spell protects target from all the five types of energy, i.e. Acid, Cold, Electricity, Fire and Sonic), and Protection from Spells spell." Afterwards, Rary cautiously leaned forward and attempted to pick Soul Edge up...

Turanis smiled as the blade merely hummed as Rary picked it up, "The only thing it seams to require is that the weilder have magical prowess."

Even though Rary neither looked nor was a warrior, she had to use swords more then once in his long life. Holding Soul Edge in his right hand with both caution and respect, Rary gave it a close examination.

"A magnificent weapon" said Rary finally "Don't doubt, Turanis Altaine, I will find it a good use indeed."

"Returning to our buisness" continued Rary, still holding Soul Edge in his right hand with both caution and respect "I must repeat myself, that the portal you seek is not in my possession. However, I happened to know where this portal is with absolute certainity, for there is but one place in the Empire of the Bright Lands which is outside my influence - an ancient necropolis, built by an ancient long gone civilization. None of the men I sent there ever returned, yet I have no doubt, that you will brave this gods-forsaken place, Turanis Altaine. Jabar and his men will provide you with an armed escort there, and my former apprentice Rikkon will provide you with some assistance as well. He is still young, but he has no small potential. I hope that this is fair enough for you, isn't it so, Turanis Altaine?"

"Yes, I appreciate this very much." Turanis said, smiling as he mentally checked things off in his mind.
~I am glad I didn't hae to give up the Darkness Flame spells... They are much too dangerous for anyone else to possess....~

Rary just nodded in response, and kept silent.

Soon the younger man - Rikkon returned into the throne room. Rikkon now had six-feet-long staff, which appeared to be made of cracked white marble, in his hands; a traveling bag behind his back; and a four stones of various color and shape, which were slowly circling around his head - Ioun Stones.

Then Rary turned to Val and continued "Val, you will go with Rikkon and guard him day and night, follow whatever orders he will give you, statisfy whatever needs he will have, and provide him with whatever support he will need."

Finally Rary turned to Turanis and said "If there is nothing else you need, Turanis Altaine, I expect you to depart as soon as possible. You have a long way ahead of you."
