Looking for the scream. Galadon thinks {{what I need is to find some animal allies, the humaniod type alway causes problems. If there are no creatures nearby that is a good sign trouble is near.}}

[OOC:] Galadon, if I understood you correctly, you did fly to the sound of the scream yet, just flied up to the brenches to see if there are animals around or no. [/OOC:]
There seem to be no signs of animals nearby, it seems, that something frightened all of the animals badly. From his current location, Galdon is unable to see what's going on with the gray elven riders. However, as Galadon thinks, the second scream follows the first one...

OOC: Well it seems to be easy enough to do at the same time, notice to see if there are any animals while trying to find the one screaming. Can the screams be recognized as coming from a humaniod creature.
Galadon has a habit of thinking alot to hmself {{Ok your screaming, that means trouble, at least in Faerun. Where are you and what are you.}} Galadon flies towards a second scream.

Screams indeed sounds to be humanoid, in fact, very much like elven...
As Galadon flew to the sound of the screams, he heard two more screams are he flew. And one Galadon finally reached the source of the screams, he saw bodies of four gray elves on the ground, their terrified horses ran in panic. The rest of gray elven riders tried to attack the gray armored figure, but were having little success, partially because trees disallowed them to effectically surround and attack the gray armored figure, and partically because their horses seemed to be frightened of the gray armored figure...

With a couple of slashes of its longsword, the gray armored figure finished off yet another gray elven rider, letting his horse flee...

Changing back to human form Galadon use the ability of his staff of the woodlands, animate plants.
Galadon commands two huge trees to attack the gray armored creature. (this would be trees other than the one Galadon is standing on).
After the animated trees attack. Galadon looks for a injured elf than is moving. Using his powers of a hierophant, divine reach, he will cast a Cure Moderate Wounds on the elf.
Divine reach: any touch healing spells have a range of 30 feet.

Obeying Galadon's command, two trees attacked the grey armored figure...
Afterwards, Galadon looked for injuried elves, but found none - all the elves who suffered attacks from grey armored figure are clearly dead.

Before gray armored figure was able to kill yet another elf, two huge trees came to life and attacked it, slamming it with their brenches and attmeting to entangle it.
Though gray armored figure didn't expected the attack, and thus couldn't avoid the brenches, it began to chop the brenches, which entangled it off, swinging its longsword with surprising speed and accurecy, and using its large steel shield to block others brenches...
Within a few moments, gray armored figure was free once again, and moved backward, away from animated trees. Even though animated trees moved slowly, they followed gray armored figure, forcing it away from the remaining gray elven riders, who made no attemts to join the battle.
"By Nerull's scythe!" swore gray armored figure looking upward, Galadon got a feeling, that gray armored figure looked directly at him "You have won today, but that's not the last we meet!"
Animated trees closed to gray armored figure, but before they reached gray armored figure with their brenches, it disappeared, as if it was never there...

With their target gone, two huge trees animated by Galadon stopped, awaiting for the future commands from Galadon...
With their horses suddenly calming down, the remaining sixteen gray elven riders managed to re-group, and backened slightly from two animated trees. They still haven't noticed Galadon, as he was directly above them, and two animated trees consumed all their attention at the moment.

The gray elven riders look to each other, then one of them says "Thank you, Galadon the Druid, for it seems you have saved all of us. Whoever this man was, it seemed he would slaughter all of us by himself, if not for your intervention. Our leader, and four more of us have fallen to this man, and now we are going to return back to Riversburg. It is now clear, that whatever is going on at the Jewel River, it is beyond our control."
