<OOC - Wow. This thread just exploded>
The muscular half-elf gives a short salute to the newcomer and holds out his gloved hand to her
I'm Major Rill Nirenn, 2nd division, Planes-Militant: commander of Spectrum Force. said Nirenn Good to have you along. If you wouldn't mind, we are currently just about to engage in a massive assault. Would you tell me what skills you possess, such that I may better assign you?

"Don't worry about me they'll have to come up to me to get me or concentrate a fair ammount of magical firepower either way less people watching for you. I know what I'm doing, I'll be fine." Challenger said. "And please cut the sir lark ok?"
Challenger sat down and started switiching his boots. "If stealths not needed for my job I might as well use my boots, steel toe caps have their uses."

Bariel looked at Challenger, then sighed, lowered her eyes and said "You probably know it better, Si... Challenger. I just voiced my opinion, that's all."

"Ok come on cut that out, your a Ranger not some bloody scatter brained serving wrench!" Challenger snapped fed up to the back teeth of people backing down the moment he said something. "Show some bloody backbone damn it! I don't always know better, I make mistacks like the next guy, I have never hit someone for telling me I'm wrong, so don't act like contradicting me is some form of bloody crime."
He took a deep breath calming himself down. "Sorry being injured rarely improves my temperment, I thank you for your concern but I'll be fine, getting attacked is the whole point of me being out there so I'm not worried I should be able to extract myself easily enough if I do get overwelmed."

Terren turns to the newcomer, "I am Terren." He then digs in his bag and retrieves his waterskin and takes a small drink before putting it away.

"I may be a ranger, Challenger, yet I have neither high rank, nor any skills worth mentioning, that's why I am not in position to give advices to any of you." says Bariel quietly, raising her eyes to meet Challenger's "But if you indeed want to hear my opinion, Challenger, I would suggest you to use whatever means you have in your disposal to return to the Windfort. Remember, the death of any of you serves no purpose, but to make Demonic Wizard closer to his victory."
After saying so, Bariel lowered her eyes once again.

Koriisa finds herself giving Challenger a wry grin at his last comment. She walks over to him and examines his wounds without asking his permission, seeing if there is anything her healing skills might help. "Don't feel as if you need to sacrifice your life for this mission, Challenger," she tells him during her quick examination. "Remember this is only a single battle in a greater war. Your talents might be more useful to us another day."

Challenger turned to Koriisa.
"Who said anything about dieing?" He said with the hint of a grin. He turned back to Bariel.
"Bariel look me in the eyes." Challenger said quietly though neither softly, nor harshly with a hint of a command.

!For Merkuri only!
Challenger's wounds, which are caused by lightning bolt and magic missiles aren't the kind of wounds, which you can ease with healer's kit, time and magic are the only things that can ease such injuries.

Bariel sighed once again, knowing that she probably wouldn't like what Challenger is going to say to her, yet nevertheless, she obediantly raised her eyes to meet Challenger's once again.

Koriisa simply shrugs and takes a few steps back, seeing no injuries she could remedy.

"The only two things I give a damn about in a person." Challenger said with no mocking in his tone though no warmth either. "Whats in here." He pressed on finger agaist Bareil's forehead. "And whats in here." He pressed the same finger over Bareil's heart.
"I don't suffer fools and I don't put up with yes men. If you don't respect yourself why should anyone respect you. Your less experienced than most here but that does not make you any less, it does not make you a dead weight who should neither been seen nor heard. I've seen an 55 year old general with 15 years of militery experience and his battle hardened army turned back and destroyed by a 20 year old captain in command of a force that had never seen battle before. I couldn't give a damn about rank or experience. Ability and intelligence is how a judge a person's capability of contribute. You've shown yourself to be a capable scout, a capable warrior and you spotted the two major flaws with my plan, you've shown yourself to be intelligent now show me you've got the courage to back it up. If you think I'm wrong I expect, no I demand that you tell me, if your not convinced tell me, if you have an opinion on anything thats being discused express it and fight for it to be lissened to."
"Never back down to me if you think I'm wrong." Challenger finished

Bariel blushed slightly as Challenger spoke, and remained silent for a few moments, it seemed she was gethering her thoughts.
"I thank you, Challenger." said Bariel finally, after a few moments of silence "Though I fear, you overstimate my abilities and intelligence. So far, I haven't done anything useful, I was there, when everthing was about to begin, yet I haven't done, couldn't done anything to prevent it. Nevertheless, the one thing I am sure about, is that your plan to cover us is equal to suicide. I don't know how great your magical power is, for I know nothing about magic, yet don't forget, that our enemy is a mage of sorts as well. One you will attempt to cover us, you will be spoted, and once you will be spoted, I am sure that enemy general will not give you an opportunity to escape. If you need my opinion, Challenger, I would suggest you to withdraw to the south into the mountains, where it would be difficult to spot you, and from there to the east into the forest and finally back into Windfort. I think, the rest of you will make a decision to attack before the nightfall, for the enemy has most lilkely seen our battle in here, and we can expect his minions to come here to investigate at any moment now. I believe, that you should use our attack on the enemy fortress as opportunity to withdraw. I think, that you mustn't secrifice your life just to cover us, which porbably won't do much good anyway, as enemy general seem to have a rather large army. You death is irreplaceable loss to us, Challenger. Remember, what Lady Koriisa said - this is only a single battle in a greater war and your talents might be more useful to us another day. And personally, I fully agree with Lady Koriisa - you should withdraw and spare your life now to be able to fight Demonic Wizard's minions in the others battles."

After finishing her speech, Bariel lowered her eyes once again, still blushing slightly.
"I am sorry, perheps it sounded a bit harsh." added Bariel "But that is how I see the situation."
