!For EK - Shadow of Death only!
EK, it will take Rill quite a lot of time to reach the enemy fortress' northeastern tower, and I would like to receive more actions from Agent Regina and Merkuri in "Monks Unleashed!" game thread. And so, unless either Rill or Talguma would like to change their actions, please, don't post anything in "Infiltrating the Enemy Fortress" game thread for now, and I will post about Rill's reaching the enemy fortress' northeastern tower (or Rill's being noticed, but this is unlikely) when I feel that time for this is appropriate. Sorry for causing the delay, EK, but I truly hope that this delay isn't going to be a long one.

Rill hangs low, waiting for Talguma's signal. Talguma creates a small temporary illusion of a flicker of movement out of the corner of the Hezrou's eye, followed by a light patter of footsteps. This is done just subtly enough to be barely noticeable. I am terribly sorry, EK, but I haven't completed my descriptions yet. Would you please allow me to complete my descriptions before posting your actions?

!For EK - Shadow of Death only!
I have now completed my descriptions.
Now I would like to know, would you continue your previous actions, or would you decide to do something else? If you would like to continue the actions that you have posted before I have completed posting my descriptions, please confirm it in "Infiltrating the Enemy Fortress" brainstorm thread. If you would like to change your actions, please either edit your last post in "Infiltrating the Enemy Fortress" game thread, or post your new actions in "Infiltrating the Enemy Fortress" game thread. In either case, however, I won't likely be able to post the results of your actions today, although I cannot say it for sure.

Rill whispers something in elvish to Talguma, and has them coordinate a plan. Talguma creates another quick flicker of movement in the peripheral vision of the incoming Hezrou. Simultaneously, Rill vaults over the edge of the battlement and crouches behind the tower, putting it between him and the guards. Actually, Rill won't be able to crouches behind the tower, as it is actually wider then the wall. Check the Plan of the Enemy Fortress, and I hope you will get the picture. In case if you still don't get the picture, I'll try to draw a plan for Rill's surroundings at home, and provide a link to it in this thread.

Is it possible for Rill to leap atop the tower if he was standing on the battlements?

Is it possible for Rill to leap atop the tower if he was standing on the battlements? No, unless Rill is able to employ some magic to increase the height of his jump greatly; the tower raises thirty feet above the wall.

Is it possible for Rill to hang underneath the stone bridge using his arms and legs? The stone bridge is a little bit too wide for Rill to cling to it with with both his arms and legs and hang under it. The best Rill can do is to jump to the stone bridge (he will have to make about ten feet long leap) and hang at it on his arms. Since Rill is both strong and endurant, he will be able to hang like that for a few minutes. However, Hezrous from the wall will have a chance to spot Rill. And also, if somebody walks on the bridge, he or she will most likely notice Rill's hands and will have a good opportunity to chop them or step on them; and then, in either case, Rill will most likely fall down to his death (90 feet/30 meters is a very long fall).

How long is the bridge? Are there any guards by the entrance to the citadel? Does Rill's instinct tell him that making a wild dash is suicide?

How long is the bridge? Are there any guards by the entrance to the citadel? Does Rill's instinct tell him that making a wild dash is suicide? The stone bridge is 90 feet long and 7.5 feet wide. Earlier Rill saw two huge (larger then Hezrous), semi-humanoid figures standing at the citadel's main entrance, and Rill suspects that fighting both of them alone is most likely going to be a suicide for him. Rill don't really see anybody upon the stone bridge, however; well, actually Rill thought that he saw some dark silhouette there earlier, but his Infravision seemed to prove otherwise... ...Anyway, assuming that there is nobody on the stone bridge, Rill will be able to run through it to the main citadel rather quickly, but the nearest Hezrou will definately notice Rill (Tanari'ri/Demons see in the dark rather well), but won't likely have a chance to fire a crossbow bolt at Rill, since he currently has his melee weapon (a huge two-bladed axe) drawn, while his heavy crossbow hangs unloaded at his belt. However, if there is somebody on the stone bridge, he or she will likely be able to block the way for Rill, and Rill will likely be forced to fight him or her. If so, the nearest Hezrou will likely have time to either drawn and load his crossbow to fire at Rill, or to run to the bridge and also engage Rill in melee combat. In either way, Rill will have to win this battle quickly, and then will possibly have to win a battle against Hezrou, also quickly. Oh, and by the way, I’ve done a little more thinking, and I’ve decided that Rill actually can hang underneath the stone bridge using both his arms and legs; of course, the stone bridge is wider then Rill is tall, but Rill can extand his hands about half of his height. However, it will be rather hard for Rill to cling to the stone bridge with his legs, and thus, Rill won’t be able to hang like that for a long time, a few minutes at the most. And also, if there is somebody on the stone bridge, this idea will be as bad as hanging on the stone bridge on hands alone, for the very same reason: whoever is on the stone bridge will easily notice Rill and force him to fall down to his death.

Rill smiles broadly and locks himself against the wall. using one hand to remove his cube of force and moving it to his mouth, Rill leaps off the wall and attempts to grab onto the stone bridge, pulling himself up. He quickly activates his cube, draws both axes, and charges quickly across the bridge towards the citadel, muttering prayers to himself. Your newest actions have been aknowledged, EK. However, I won't be able to post the result of your newest actions today, EK, especially since I would like to get at home and give Cube of Force a look before doing so. But I will try my best to post the result of your newest actions tomorrow, EK.
