Meanwhile, Koriisa and Amy used the Invisibility and Improved Invisibility spells casted upon them to sneak around the enemy fortress. Though they couldn’t see each other, and their footsteps were barely heard, they somehow felt each other’s presence, possibly because both of them were monks and thus knew how to guide their Ki, who knows?

After about five minutes, Koriisa and Amy reached the northwestern corner of the enemy fortress, where there were significantly less guards, then there were in the southwestern corner. There was the guard tower, which raised about thirty more feet above the walls. From their location, Koriisa and Amy could see, that narrow stone bridge connected the guard tower with the main citadel.

Since plains, without any trees or large rocks nearby, surround the enemy fortress the only possible way for Koriisa and Amy to climb fortress’ walls is to use their Silent Grappling Hooks.

"I think that bridge is our best bet," Koriisa says, fishing her grappling hook out of her bag. "Would you mind throwing my hook for me? Challenger never gave me an answer whether it would break the spell or not. I'm guessing it might break mine, but not yours, and I don't want to take the chance. I'm holding it out. If you can't find me, I'll put it on the ground." Koriisa holds out her grappling gear towards where she thinks Amy is. If Amy can't find it to accept the exchange, she will put it on the ground so it will become visible to Amy, but hopefully will be too small for any guards on the wall to see.

Whispering Amy replied. "I'll outstretch my hands and try and force some of my Ki in that direction to allow you to sense where my hands are. Is that better?" Amy now outstretches her hands and concentrates trying to direct the energy as a beacon for Koriisa to sense

Attempting to sense Amy's ki, Koriisa reaches out carefully and tries to hand her the grappling hook. "Think you can still throw it if I keep hold of the very end? That way we don't have to worry about it becoming visible or me finding it once its been thrown. But we have to hurry, I don't know how much time you have left. When we get to the top we'll look for a way inside. You go first and take out any guards you think we need to get rid of. I'll be right behind, hopefully. Once your spell wears off we'll switch and I'll go first."

Their senses didn't betray them, and Koriisa and Amy indeed easily located each other.

Amy took the grappling hook and managed to make it, swinging the device she reached the top of the wall and readied herself to climb Koriisa following behind her.

Amy's aim was true, and in the next moment, both Silent Grappling Hooks caught hold of the enemy fortress' walls, absolutely without sound.

Within about twenty seconds, Amy and Koriisa climbed the enemy fortress' walls.

As soon as Amy and Koriisa climbed to the enemy fortress' walls, they saw a monstrous ugly creature running past them, apparantly not seeing them. The creature look like massive, roughly humanoid toad with arms instead of forelegs. The creature wears large half-plate. Among the weapons, the creature has a large heavy crossbow upon his belt. A greatsword, which the creature easily hold in his right hand as if it was a longsword. Also the creature carries enormous, about five and the half feet tall steel shield behind his back. The creature is running to the south.

Amy watched the terrible creature roam past them, she ducked and slinked towards the wall they had just climbed, and then...realises she didn't need to do so due to the spell.
~Time is of the essence, we must hurry.~ She thought.

The toad-like creature ran past Amy and Koriisa, joining the rest of the creatures, which positioned themselves in the southen part of the wall.

Beyond the walls, Amy and Koriisa saw something like an army quickly approaching the enemy fortress, though it was hard to see because of the distance, and because it was getting dark quickly.

About ten feet to the north from Amy and Koriisa stood the guard tower, with heavy wooden doors. There were no enemies between them and guard tower.
