Leaving Koriisa to watch the abandoned guard tower, Amy retrieved the silent grappling hooks and then returned to Koriisa's side, placing the item back into her own bag of holding. She guided her Ki to the tips of her hands to help Koriisa find the second silent grappling hook, which lay in her palms outstretched towards the monk.

With a little difficulty, Koriisa was able to locate Amy and Silent Grappling Hook, which Amy was holding out for her.

Koriisa accepted the grappling hook and put it back into her bag. She motioned for Amy to follow before she realized it would do no good. She crept forward anyway towards the door to the guard tower, which seemed their only option. She carefully pressed her ear against it and listened.

!For Merkuri only!
With her excellent hearing, Koriisa easily heard heavy footsteps inside the tower, as if something large was making rounds in there.

By the way, guard tower's doors are about ten feet high and ten feet wide, and seem to open outwards, i.e. towards you.

Koriisa looks down the length of the wall and decides the nearest guards are far enough away for her to risk a whisper. Very quietly she says to Amy, "One of those things is in there. If we open the door quietly enough we might be able to get in without the whatever-it-is realizing the door was opened. But if it notices we may have to fight. You should go first. Wait until it sounds like it's passed the door by a few steps to open. I'll be right behind you." Koriisa steps out of the way of the door and presses herself up against the wall next to it (on the opposite side of the door from the hinges) and gets ready to slip in after its opened.

Amy slowly and gently opened the door, the wooden structure hardly making a noise as she tried to move herself in.

Though the door was not locked, it was still heavy, and it gave quite a loud creak as Amy opened it...

Both Amy and Koriisa realized, that the creature inside had to be deaf not to hear it...

Koriisa listens for any sound of alarm or movement from inside the room. If she hears nothing or hears that the creature's footsteps aren't close to the door she slips in, trying to stay close to the wall (assuming she sensed that Amy wasn't still in the way). If the creature's too close to the door she will stay where she is and try to be as quiet as possible.

There is no real need for listening carefully, to hear heavy footsteps which are quickly approaching the now-open door...

Koriisa makes a split second decision and dashes through the door (assuming, again, that she senses that Amy isn't in the way).

Koriisa made it through the door quick enough to dash past another toad-like crature, this one with a greataxe in each of its masssive hands...

But Amy didn't reacted quick enough, and now toad-like creature occupied the doorway, looking in Amy's direction...

Koriisa looked around the room for Amy before she realized that she wouldn't see Amy even if she had made it in. She tries to reach out with her Ki and sense if she made it into the room or not.
