…The second is a huge, about as huge as the demon that carries her, golem-like creature that appears to be mostly made of steel and stone.

…While in his other lower hand, Gin’Khan holds a raven, obviously the same one that was with Talguma earlier.

The raven remains completely motionless, as if it was stunned or paralyzed.

Talguma flits over to Rill's shoulder, sitting on it and muttering incoherently into his ear. Rill listens carefully and eventually comforts the pixie with a hand.
She appears to be quite troubled. Whatever you did Gin'Khan, it was quite effective.

”I suppose it may have something to do with my ability to stun with a single word.” Gin’Khan said, and Rill could almost hear a hint of amusement in the huge demon’s voice, which, however, lasted for only a moment.

”This power hasn’t been used on your friend, however, but rather on our less cooperative guest.” Gin’Khan added then. ”Trust me, Major Nirenn, your friend has not been harmed in any way.”

I would have expected only as much said the half-elf However, that doesn't mean a glabrezu's sudden appearance isn't shocking enough to most mortals.

”Very well, I believe we have everything in order for now.” Leiton Ashwand said then. ”Sir Gin’Khan, deliver our prisoner into the dungeons. I’ll be there shortly to conduct interrogations personally.”

”As you wish, General Ashwand.” Gin’Khan said, and the next moment he disappeared into the thin air.

“Major Nirenn, I believe there is nothing important for you to do at the moment.” Leiton Ashwand continued. ”I suggest that you and your little friend take some rest, I’ll give you a room in my fortress and instruct someone to take you there. It would also be best if you tell your little friend how the things stand, there is obviously much she doesn’t yet know about. I will also inform everyone that you are allowed the freedom to move around the fortress, of course except for the personal quarters, dungeons, and my personal chambers. Oh, and one more thing before you go: now, when I’ve seen you, I will remember you well, and it will be as easy for me to find you as it were for you to find your little friend. Think about it, think carefully, if you will ever consider betraying us. For now, you are dismissed, Major Nirenn.”
