A Science of 5 is a bit Abnormal anyway. It means that you had years and years of studies in a speciefic feild of science.

Whoops! Didn't know they could only go up to three now. I'll fix that.
Knowledges (primary) Computer 2 Enigmas Investigation 2 Law 1 Linguistics 2 Medicine 2 Occult Politics 1 Rituals Science 3
Better? What are enigmas, by the way? That's the only thing I don't recognize.

Ooh, that sounds like something she'd like. More than medicine. Another update to Gargoyle's knowledges:

Backgrounds is the next step, right? What do I do about that?

Well, BoneGnawers can not have Resources, or Pure Breed im not quite sure of but I am all most positive.
You 5 dots in BG, and you can only have a BG as high as 3.

Can somebody go over what the different categories in background mean? Some of them look obvious, some of them I think I know what it means, just not what the dots refer to, and others I have no clue.

Uhhh.. Jayce? Are you sure that a background can't exceed 3 at first? I'm not entirely sure, but I don't think I've evr noticed a rule like that. Maybe it is a 3E thing.
====================================
Allies- You have a number of "high ranking" friends equal to the number of dots you put in. They are also more influential the more you put in. They do not necessarily know you are a werewolf, but they may still know that you are not normal. They are considered friends, and may become dissapointed/angry if you do not treat them as such.
Contacts- You have access to an information network of people. For every Point, you have one major contact. You also have a host of minor contacts, but it can be difficult to locate them and you will often need to bribe or charm the information out of them.
Fetish- You own one (or more) magic or spirit possesed items. Every item has a level, and you can possess as many items as you want with a total level of the number of points in this background. (Finds-No-Ground, for example, has 4 points here, and used tehm to get a level 4 klaive. He could have gotten 4 level one fetishes instead.)
Kinfolk- You know a number of humans or wolves that have a recessive werewolf gene. They aren't Garou, but they can withstand the delerium. These are often useful for Garou that want to deal with cities, but don't want to risk a frenzy.
bah, I have a test in a few hours, so Jayce can take care of the rest. ciao!

Wonders are Magic based Items... Wonders are in Mage though.]
Kinfolk- You know a number of humans or wolves that have a recessive werewolf gene. They aren't Garou, but they can withstand the delerium. These are often useful for Garou that want to deal with cities, but don't want to risk a frenzy.
Mentor- A Garou master that have taken time to teach you what he knows. Most of the time the Mentor is Garou unless you have a merit that says other wise. The more points in Mentor the more helpful your mentor was and still is.
Past Live/Ancestors[3rd ed.]- Is how far you have reancarnate, and what they can help you with. Each point in this will give you an extra point and any ability when needed. It can be very useful to have extra dot in something you don't have.
Resources- How much money you get, or your income basicaly. This is also to tell what kind of home you live in, and what kind of car you drive. Again BoneGnawers in my beliefs can't take this.
Pure Breed- Basically its how well your father, and your fathers, father made an impact of how well that tribe was known.
Rites- This is how well, and how many Garou Rituals you know. There are special Tribe Rituals too, but I do not have the BoneGnawers book. 1 point in this is 1 level one Ritual. This works about like Fetishes, and are normaly the way they are made.
Totem- This is your help to putting points in the pack Totem that could help yours, and the other pack members by getting a better pack Totem. All pack members points in that are added up to see what level Totem we can get.

Allies Contacts 1 Fetish Kinfolk Mentor 3 Past Life Resources Pure Breed Rites Totem 1
Gargoyle's mentor is the Bone Gnawer who found her after her First Change. Her main contact is a fellow orphan who she got along with when she was growing up. Her other contacts are the few street folk she talked to. Most aren't useful, but they can know surprising things sometimes.
I'm not exactly sure what a totem does, but I put a point in it anyway for the sake of the group.

Good background lineup. Nobody is sure what we're going to do with the totem yet. We will just have to decide once we gat all the points in. Actually, we're up to 4 now, which means we can get a minor totem right now, if nobody else wants to put in points.

Put 1 or 2 in Totem if you want to. A Totem will be a Spirit that helps the pack in certian situations. We get a few bonuses when we have a Totem, like Crocadile,[The only one I know off hand] gives an extra Agg of DMG when you bite, and gives you a 2 extra dice in Stealth.. ect. It has more but I am not going there.
However We could go Spider! Or a Celestine Spirit would be cool.
Then I would maybe also put one in Kinfolk and say it was your Mentors, or which ever Garou Parent you had. Normaly the Garou Parent you never see untel you are ready, hint why you have a mentor maybe.
Combat never hurts ether. You will need to survive out in the Garou nation against BSD's and Fomuri!
