OOC: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the restart of the game. I want to start off by thanking you for being patient. I hate when real life sticks its ugly head into things, but such is life. So you are aware we are restarting completely. Anything that happened in the previous “Game” thread is null and void.
From this point on please only have in character chatter here. All OOC chatter should be limited to the other threads or PMs. So without further adieu…

The howl was heard the night before last signifying that a moot is too be held. All the tribe will be there and those that are not had better be dead. You are all in the barn where the moot is being held. The main doors open and in walks Rages-With-Pitchfork, a Bone Gnawer and one of the caern protectors.
RwP – Dark times are upon us. For it is in these days that we must look to our enemies for allies. A talisman of great importance to the sept has been taken and a great quest must follow.
Jacob Crusher, one of the more hot headed Ahourn’s of the group, stands and raises his Klaive in the air.
Jacob – We need no help to regain what has been taken. We are the warriors of Gaia and we can crush our foes no matter who they are.
RwP – Calm yourself Jacob. You must understand that the talisman that was taken from us holds a powerful spirit. I am talking of the Eye of the Kodiak.
Jacob – The Eye of the Kodiak? Why would we need to worry about that? It has been proven that there are no powers that it possesses. Let those that took it deal with it’s worthlessness.
Ferrell Kronckin, a Wendigo Theurge, stands from his seat. He is an old man, but when one stares in his eyes they can see the fire that burns behind them.
Ferrell – You know not what you speak of Crusher. You think only about might of the fist and not might of the spirit. You must understand that it is the mystery of the Eye that makes it powerful. It has been written that a great spirit has been trapped in the stone for many years and it has laid dormant for centuries. Soon it is the time of the awakening and only then will the powers be revealed.
Jacob – But we don’t even know if it is the power of Gaia. For all we know it the spirit within could be Wyrmspawn waiting to corrupt.
Many in the assembly voice their agreement with Jacob.
Ferrell – Regardless, we cannot let the spawn that took the Eye to have control over it. We must take it back so that if it is Wyrmspawn then we can contain it.
Jacob – Who stole the Eye?
A voice from the doorway startles everyone.
Voice – You should have told me the Eye was stolen Rages-with-Pitchfork.
Everyone turns toward the door and recognizes Falleen Kell, the sept leader. He walks into the room and stares at Rages.
Kell – You were entrusted to protect the Eye and now it is in the hands or that rabble in Chicago.
Jacob – What rabble? Why won’t anyone say who stole it?
Kell – Because it was a group of mortals who that stole it.
Jacob bursts into laughter.
Jacob – Mortals? Why should we waste time with mortals?
Ferrell – Because we do not know if these mortals stole it of their own devices or if they were coerced into stealing the Eye for someone else.
Jacob – Then why should the main guardians be the ones to make the siege? Have the new whelps in the sept go and retrieve the Eye.
Kell – What are you talking about? They are not ready.
You all realize that you are the ones that they are talking about. You are all new to the sept and have yet to be trusted with anything but menial tasks.
Ferrell – I would agree with Jacob. Have the new group go and retrieve it. They are sufficiently trained to do this. Plus, while they are on this mission maybe they will attract their totem spirit while they are out.
Kell mulls this over for a moment.
Kell – Well, what say you cubs? Will you accept this mission?
Kell waits for your responses.
OOC - Just so you know, I will wait for 3-4 days before making the decision for your character. Please be aware that when I make the decision I will do so either to help the game progress or to be in agreement with the other players.
