Okay, I'll jump on the bandwagon and post some of my stuff. Some of these were doodles drawn during class on notebooks, some were drawn on the computer using my tablet, and some were a combination of both. Hope you like. Feel free to comment/criticise. A sketch I did for an avatar on another board. It was supposed to be female, but I didn't have female proportions down pat yet. Looks like a guy with breasts. I have a version that was colored, but I actually like the line version better. The logo for my programming team in college. Some scanned art from my old class notes. Any color was done on the computer using the "watercolor" function. "Whisper" was one of those doodles I thought came out so well that I didn't want to touch him until I had scanned him. Even though they're tiny, he has the best hands I've ever drawn, I think. The color on this one was from the back cover of the notebook I drew it on. This one's my favorite. Different incarnations of this doodle can be found in just about every notebook I own. And here's one I did just for fun. It was originally intended as a buddy icon for AIM, but it turned out too large, if I recall. My first (and only) foray into small icons. And one of my few animated graphics.

*Regina huggles Merkuri*
Ahh I see you have indeed jumped on the bandwagon,......However I must say I really like your work,....especially the golden background dragon, very nice.
Hmm,.....*Regina blushes*.....I found that a lot,.....drawing in the middle of lectures,...mainly AS-Level Maths with Statistics though of last year as I should never have taken that subject,...but atleast I got a lot of doodles in,...many of which I have used as further inspiration. However I don't get time to doodle nowadays,........as I'm not taking Maths with Statistics anymore,...and I never doodle in my other lectures,.....it's hard to do so and also I'll lose my concentration on the actual drawing and subject lecture!
Speaking of lectures,....I have just logged on quickly to update a mini rpg section for AylixPhyrehawk,...as he was quite proud of how he's winding up a NPC of mine - Helen Thornton - just exactly the character bonding he wanted though,...which is why I designed her that way.
I don't know if I am drawing the female proportions right,......I'm trying, but most probably failing.
The first drawing I really like aswell,......if the legs were just slightly more female,.....in my opinion you'd be spot on.
Kawaii! *Regina huggles the animated gif* That must have taken you a while to do.
By the way how long do you find you spend on a normal drawing? I'm just asking as I've had a comment off another board about my artwork - he realy loved my work but wa shocked to hear I spent 2 hours on it that morning.
Well,.....I'm off for a Chemistry lecture, looking forward to some more artwork from you,
take care,
Regina.

Thanks for the compliments. This is all old work, stuff I already had on my computer. I don't doodle very often anymore. I used to use it as an aid to keep me awake during classes (I could pay attention and doodle at the same time, but as soon as I put down the pencil I'd drop right off to sleep), and since I'm out of college I don't have much need for it anymore. Although, I will doodle sometimes during boring meetings (same principle, as soon as I put down the pencil I nod off). It's not just the legs in the first drawing that make it look masculine. The shoulders are too broad and it has no hips. I've done much better women since then. I actually went online and looked up a few "how to draw women" tutorials. And there's been a lot of trial and error. My mom and sister have had a lot of drawings shoved up into their face along with the question, "What gender?" If they hesitate that means start again. BTW... if you can't tell, the little animated guy's supposed to be Yoda. As far as "how long," most of these pictures were done in one class period, which is an hour. I usually do several doodles during a class period, and many of them never get "finished" because I have to flip the page to take more notes, but these are my more detailed ones, so they probably got the whole class period. Some of them I've probably gone back to and touched up during other classes, but the ones on lined paper were never worked on outside of class, besides adding color, but that never took me long, only about 10 minutes at most. The angel on the very bottom and the orange dragon were worked over several times, I think, being on the covers of the notebook (a place I looked more often than individual pages), so they probably had a couple hours put into them, but not all at once. The angel at the top probably took me a couple hours, but I don't recal. It's one of my "cleaner" drawings, so that means it had more time put into it than normal. The Sp3cial Proj3ct logo must've taken me at least three hours (might have been as long as five, but I don't recal). That one had a few steps to it. I sketched it out quickly on paper first (even with a tablet I still feel like I have more control on paper), scanned it, then "traced" it with my art program, then painted it with the watercolor function. As for how long it took me to do Yoda... god, it must've been days. I don't remember, but it was a loooooong time. You probably won't see more artwork anytime soon. I do have some more digital stuff, but I had saved them with an art program that won't work on my new computer and the format is unique to that program, so I'll need to dig out my old computer or install this program somewhere else to "unlock" those pictures. And I'd scan more stuff, but my scanner is buried under all my college boxes in the basement somewhere. I might use my dad's scanner, but his always gives me a hard time. So I might post more stuff, but probably not soon. Don't hold your breath.

*Regina giggles*
Yup, I did know it was Yoda,....he's so Kawaii though, yeah I know he's not supposed to be really,....but you can't help but adore him huh.
Uhuh,...scanners can suck,.....mine ain't too bad,....I'm just technologically dumb at times.
My lectures are an hour and a half long,......but as I've said I get no time to doodle nowadays during lectures,.......we don't stop in lectures this year, so much to do, and write,...plus I'm quite thorough,...being analytical and so can go quite overboard with my notes,...but that's good,....perparation for Uni. *Regina crosses her fingers and looks hopeful.*
Well, I look forward to seeing some more of your work,....keep it up, and take care,
Regina.

My newest work. I did this originally thinking it would go on my business card, but it looks a little too... silly for a business card. Still good, though. It's my best "small" work.

*Giggles*
Kawaii!
I really like your dragon there, indeed it wouldn't suit a business card,....but then again,....perhaps it may have worked to your advantage? It would have caught peoples eye, if that was what you were aiming for?
Anyways, I adore it.

Thanks, Regina. I tried printing it out and it comes out all pixelated and ugly. It looks much better on a computer, deffinitely not on a business card or resume.
