Odd, in everything I've read, undeath is the eternal enemy of death because it is cheating death out of what is rightfully deaths. Wonder if you are not simply some imposter or if you are not being tricked by an evil god...

There is nothing that can steal from Death. Death uses necromancy as a sort of "friendly relationship". Undead are only allowed to be raised because there's an imbalance in the Realms of the Dead as compared to those of the living. If there are too many dead, then some are raised in order to keep the living on their toes, so to speak, and thus strengthen themselves. If there are too many of the living, then powerful undead are allowed to exist (such as vampires, etc) in order to bring more back into the fold. Naturally, there are better ways of doing this, but these are usually decided by fate, and are never absolutely certain.
