The Ñapital City of Hinckley, evening
The police's final report
Unfortunately, the investigation leaded us nowhere, whoever those sailors were, they are nowhere to be found. It is determined, however, that these group of sailors aren't the same sailors who disappeared recently. In case of disappeared sailors, it is not clear whether they were somehow involved in this murder, or whether they were killed or kidnapped for some reason. One thing is certain - this isn't a work of common criminals, these men were professionals, and very likely the faces everyone saw were disguises as well.

In response to the police report, the Ministry of Military ordered to double frequency of sea patrols to intercept any unsanctioned ships leaving Earl Shilton. All ships leaving Earl Shilton are thoroughly searched…

…However, neither of these measures produced any results; whoever the criminals were, they either went to earth or managed to leave Earl Shilton before the murder and disappearances were discovered (the later isn't easy, but isn't impossible either).

The search for bombs revealed a very powerful explosive of unknown (non-Shiltonese) origin, placed at the designated landing field for Sky Giant. The explosive had been skillfully hiddent under a thin layer of asphalt, but mine sweapers managed to detect it. The explosive has very advanced (well beyond Earl Shilton's technological progress) proximity fuse. Two highly skilled specialists attempted to disarm the explosive, of course after everyone else was away from the landing field; however the explosive was well beyond their knowledge and skill, and so, when they attempted to disarm the explosive, it exploded, killing both of them and heavily damaging the landing field.

The aerodrom on the outskirts of Hinckley, the next morning
Starting from this morning, a priest of the True Belief (the religion of Terra DeMortis) began preaching about the corruption of the godless government of Earl Shiltion, and that most holy Lord-General Jerick should not trade with these nonbelievers, and instead cleanse this godless country with sword, fire and submachine gun. It is not clear what exactly the priest wants from those who happen to hear his preaching, though.

"The right of free speach without fear of reprisal is a right protect by his Majesties Government. You are free to protest peacefully however you so wish. The aerodrom on the outskirts of Hinckley
The troublemaking priest resisted the arrest, but was apprehanded nevertheless.
To everyone’s surprise, the priest resisted the arrest, surprising the soldiers who were sent to arrest him by whacking one of them with a heavy iron cross he carried. The soldiers quickly apprehanded the priest, taking the dangerous sign of his faith away from him, but the one whacked was delivered to a hospital with a minor concussion, he is expected to be able to return to duty after a day or two.
What to do with the arrested priest now remains an issue...

The priest has been arrested on the charge of treason along with assault on an officer and is awaiting trial. The chances are if found guilty of treason he will be hung.
It is currently being investigated as to his nationality, if he isn't a citizen of Earl Shilton he cannot be held for the charge of treason and in such a case will probably be deported instead after serving any sentence for the assault charge should he be found guilty of that.

A quick investigation revealed that although the priest has a moderately small amount of DeMortian blood in his veins, he is the citizen of Earl Shilton, who was born and lived within the borders of the Constitutional Monarcy. He is not guilty in any serious crimes, like assaults or thievery, but he was arrested a several times before for preaching about the corruption of Earl Shilton and its government and king.
He pleads guilty, but he claims that he made no attempts to cause the civil disorder, he merely reveled the dark truth to the citizens of Earl Shilton.
The priest’s fate is in justice’s hands now…

After pleeding quilty to the charges of, assaulting an officer and treason the defendent's fate was either a lengthly jail sentence of death.
Given the unusual nature of the case and the fact the defendents actions stradled the thin line between a legal peacefully protest and an illegal attempt to start a revolution the judge was merciful sentencing him to a mere 5 years in a low sercurity prison. Assuming good behavior the total sentence was likely to be far less.
The Judge outlined his reason indepth for showing such mercy. Primarily ammung them was the fact that overal the defendant had caused little harm beyond his foolish attempts to resist arrest and didn't appear to be involved in any plot to overthrow the government.

No, it just means that the rest of issues that will take place prior to the trade talks will be played in "Trade Talks in Earl Shilton" thread.
