Vincent nodded and smiles slightly, sitting down where instructed.
"Seems like a nice enough of a place here. You come here often?"

She nodded and smiled.
"Yes, I came here all the time whilst studying and well...it's kind of become my second home."
She blushed after saying so. "Oh my, that sounds so foolish,....I'm sorry Seph." She smiled and then with a worrysome expression said: "If you don't like it here we can always go to another place?!"

Vincent laughed and shook his head.
"Nono! This place is perfectly fine. If you like it I'm sure I will. I wasn't trying to say it was a bad place at all, it's fine! You need to stop being so worrysome. Relax, here, let's order something."
Vincent went to waive over a waiter...

Sofia smiled to the waiter who walked over to their table and said:
"Just a black tea and a cheesecake please." Smiling she handed the small menu to Seph, as the waiter jotted down her order.

Vincent glanced down the menu, looking for something interesting...
"A coffee, sugar and milk, and some apple crisp."
He handed the menu back to the waiter.
"I know what you're thinking, yes, my order was very 'American'. That's where I come from. Heheh. We're not too unique, we all pretty much like the same thing."

Sofia smiled and then frowned to him.
"I didn't think it was very 'american' of you to order what you like *She giggled* I'm not one to think that way,....oh my *She blushes*I suppose it was very 'British' of my order come to think about it.
Sofia shifted in her seat she felt rather awkward; she felt as though she was giving Seph a bad impression.

Vincent laughed.
"I suppose we're both fairly cultural with our native places. Nothing wrong with that at all." He grinned. "Hmm... Say, can I get the newspaper in here? I need to check it..."

Sofia blushed some more and then went up to the front bar and asked the barmaid for todays newspaper, she took it with her to the table where she and Seph were sitting,...she was still slightly blushing though however.
"Is this paper good enough? I could get a specific paper for you if it isn't the right one!?"

The paper was called "The Daily Telegraph" and didn't have any news on a Umbrella base attack.
Yet the Telegraph seems to be a very intilectual newspaper and thus would have the information about Umbrella in if it had occured, thus checking another paper is quite useless.

"Oh, it's perfect. Thanks a lot Sophia. Hmm... I'm good for today. No jobs yet. Cool." Vincent put down the paper and leaned on the table with his arms, giving Sophia a handsome smile. "So you never told me what your hobbies are... open up, talk to me.

Sofia smiled when she heard that the paper was appropriate, she then blushed at Seph's 'handsome' smile and replied:
"Um....I suppose my main hobbies are, reading, cooking...*She sighs* but I wouldn't cook anything fancy in the kitchen in my hotel room.....umm, I'd have to say I enjoy swimming and horse-riding.......*She blushes some more*....sorry, that one's 'in-bred' so to speak." She shifted in her seat again, uncomfortable about being seen as something worth listening too.
"I'm not at all very interesting I'm sorry,....what are your main hobbies Seph?" She smiled softly to try and make herself feel more at ease.

"Oh me? I do martial arts, mostly. I also am a sharpshooter, registered with a few recreational facilities for shooting contests. Bows, Rifles, shotguns, you name it, I can use it. I made a vow to myself when I was a child to follow in my great grandfather's footsteps... He was once a great Native American warrior, proficent in every weapon of the time, from bows, sticks, and hatchets, to muskets, rifles, and swords. He always protected his family and tribe with great pride, and I just want to carry on that tradition. Most of my family is gone now, sadly, so... I'm actually looking to start a new one. A new family so I can pass on the heritage, the history... So yeah, if you ever need someone beat up, you know who to call!"
Vincent winked at Sophia and laughed heartily at himself.
"Although, it's not like you would have ANY enemies EVER. I couldn't see a reason why anyone would want to dislike you..."

"Wow,...*She smiled at Seph warmly*...what an interesting heritage you have Seph, it must be nice to know what exactly you want out of life and not have it forced upon you."
Sofia sighed and then kept quiet whilst the waiter returned with their orders and then left to go back into the kitchen.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't say such things but,....*She stirred her tea and looked rather uncomfortable with herself right now* my family had been trying to get me paired off with a suitor, I was just a way for them to expand their business stretches... they'd pick someone they like but who'll never actually love me,....I left the estate and wanted to do something for myself and become a teacher to use the qualifications I worked so hard for; and the truth is....they disowned me."
she looked rather sad and didn't make eye contact with Seph,...she was quite ashamed of herself.
"So you see,....even my own family doesn't like me."

Vincent's heart dropped to the floor.
(That poor woman! How could her family disown her for looking for love!? It's against everything I've ever believed in and was taught! How could people do such a thing?...)
"Sophia..."
Vincent reached under the small table and took her hands in his warmly. His heart was full of compassion for the disowned teacher following her dreams. He squeezed lightly on her hands, letting her know he cared.
"I'm sorry... I don't understand how any family could do that to their child... You poor thing... I feel so horrible. I wish I could fix things for you... I really do."
Vincent bit his lip. He wanted to just burst out with all of the compassion he had for her, but he didn't want to scare her.
"Well, if there is anything you need... that I can provide... You let me know. You're a sweet girl... And don't deserve the fate you were given. There's nothing to be ashamed of in following your dreams. I'll help you any step of the way if I can."
One of the knives that had finally stopped moving through his heart started again. He just put himself in the same exact situation he had last time he was with a woman. ANd she stabbe dhim in the back. He re-bit his lip and looked off to the side, trying to ignore the slicing pain of the old rusty knife going through his heart...

Sofia blushed once again.
"My family is rather firm on their judgements,....I was supposed to grow up being something to just use as a pawn to expand the family fortune and stocks,......but choosing to use my knowledge to teach and not become a 'trophy wife' for some tycoon.....I disobeyed my father, my mother could not change his decision and so I was left to my own devices,...hence the sorry state before you!"
She smiled and squeezed his hands in return,...however she isn't the stongest of people so it seemed very light.
"Thankyou Seph,.....your help is much appreciated,...but I am doing quite fine. I have a steady job, my bank balance is rising and I'm doing something for myself,...it's just.......I have no one now, no family or friends."
"I want to make my family without such rules and importance on social stature and wealth,......I don't want to do that to my family,...*She looked puzzled for a second at herself*....that is when I do have a family!"
She smiled softly as though apologising for her current state....watching Seph turn away she looked rather worried and spoke again:
"I am so sorry Seph,.....I shouldn't burden you with my problems,...you look sad,...I-I'm sorry Seph I didn't mean to do something wrong,.....i-is everything alright?" She paniced.
