Reven has been directed by his Umbrella scientist which orders his objectives. His mission now is to secure the Yorkshire countryside, he is to remain there and will be called upon for any assistance, other than that he has been allowed to wander the local town. He is staying in a hotel, the old couple who own it have their suspicions...they don't know whether they can trust him but do not ask such questions. The owner Mrs Doyle was making dinner in the kitchen, and her pet dog was roaming around upstairs, none of those who stayed minded, he was a Shetland sheepdog and always managed to make visitors smile when they saw him nosying around.

Reven, sensing the suspicions of the hotel owners decides to make himself a ghost (although of course, not literally). He walks from his room to see the small dog sniffing around in the hall. Kneeling down, Reven scratches behind the dog's ears, setting its tail to wagging. Then he walks intently out of the hotel. The brisk air feels good on his skin as he starts north. Reven looks around, taking note of any buildings that might later serve as a "fallout shelter." He sees people as he passes, a couple of which who couldn't help but stare at the scar on his neck. Reven pulls his hood over his head and makes sure that his hair is falling across his face. Being in an area where people are forced to entertain themselves outdoors more often than cityfolk would, the locals' skin is much darker than his own, not to say that there skin is that dark at all.

Deciding to get away from these people, Reven walks to the nearest forest. He quickly hops into a tree and sits down on a branch, looking at the crows above him. Since he arrived in England, he hadn't seen one thing out of place, besides of course, himself. He reaches into a pocket pulling out a cigg and a lighter. Placing the cigg in his mouth with one hand and lighting it with the other, he quickly takes a couple of puffs from his cigarette. It was odd to him how smoking cigarettes didn't really seem to curb his cravings. Nothing seemed to. He puffs the cigarette and looks toward the ground at a chipmunk skittering across the terrain. Umbrella He thinks to himself...

What kind of fool's errand have they got me on now? Been in this boring countryside for too long with too little action. Reven hops down to the ground from his branch and starts to head back in the direction of his hotel. It has been a day or so since he has had anything to eat. Walking by another civilian on the way to the hotel, he found himself strangely attracted to one man's neck. Then it hit him. I haven't taken my shot yet today.. Better go do it, I guess. Opening the door to the hotel, he noticed a few people at the front desk and quickly hurried to get up the stairs to his room. There he opened up the small black breifcase labelled with an Umbrella logo and pulled out a small metal syringe. He truthfully didn't even know what Umbrella had him on, he just know that he felt better after he took it. He shot it into his neck and layed down on the bed to rest.

After feeling much better Reven heard a knock on his door, and the kind old Mrs Doyle's voice was heard aswell.
"Mr Neswyn; would you like anything to eat or drink?" She politely asked.
Mr and Mrs Doyle were kind enough to respect their tenants privacy, the hotel didn't have many rooms so he wasn't among many people; and they had often wondered about Reven's purpose here. They knew he was from Umbrella because they were footing the bill for his stay there, which had been quite a while now.
Tilly, her dog had joined Mrs Doyle as she waited outside his room for a reply,...she had seen him petting her dog many times.
~No man from Umbrella would be so shut off and kind to an animal,....~ She thought to herself.

Hearing a voice beyond his door, Reven sat up on his bed and looked to the door. As he remembered it, the owners of the hotel hadn't seen him eat anything since he got there. He figured he might as well ask for something. He found vodka to be an especially pleasing drink. The first glass he remembered having was in Russia, not that long ago actually.. To eat though..? Reven didn't eat much and found it difficult to specify something which he would actually like to eat. He didn't eat meat, he was pretty sure that wouldn't be an enjoyable experience. " Vegetable grinder, please, ma'am? " he called through the door. " And perhaps a pint of Vodka? Thank you, ma'am? " He layed back down on the bed and waited...

She sighed with relief as he actually wanted to eat something, her husband had been teasing her that he was against her cooking.
She spoke again: "Perhaps,...um, there are no other guests here tonight, perhaps you would like to join us for dinner,...I will complete your meal in about half an hour...if you would like to join us you're more than welcome."
Sure she was curious about his involvement with Umbrella but she didn't want to upset her guest.
~Never judge a book by it's cover!~ She thought to herself, and besides he was kind enough to entertain Tilly once in a while when she was busy.

Reven hadn't thought that the hotel owner would have invited him down for dinner. He was actually kind of fearful of the idea. what would he say if she asked him about his neck? On the other hand, he hadn't seen any action since he had been here and he wasn't likely to find aout about the town's situation unless he spoke with someone about it. He couldn't give away his reason for being here though, that was specified by his superiors at Umbrella HQ. There wasn't anyone in the hotel besides him and the owners though. if anything went wrong... He stood up, hearing a scratching at his door and let tilly in his room. He sat on the bed and called her over, scratching her under her chin. "What are you doing girl? You had dinner, yet?" He scratched her some more and reached into his bag at the side of the bed grabbing a cigg and some beef jerky. He lit his cigarette and fed Tilly the beef jerky. "There you go. let's go girl, he said, motioning the dog out of his room "I'm off to have dinner with yer folks." reven walked downstairs after finishing his cigarette and headed toward the kitchen..

Tilly ran down the stairs to join Mrs Doyle, she was setting the table for two, her husband wasn't around therefore the placings were for her and Reven.
She smiled to her dog and waited for Reven as she placed the food on the table, the elagant white table cloth on the ebony structure. The room was quiet and seemed very pleasant, the pictures and paintings which adorned the walls were of the local landscape and of her prize winning dog.
Reven's meal was placed neatly on the place mat.
"Tilly has taken quite a liking to you." She smiled and sat down, Tilly beside her.

" Yes, it would appear so, huh?" Reven stated more than asked. "She's a good dog. I really like her." Reven sat at his spot at the table, not sure how long it had been since the last time he had eaten actual food. He quickly began to eat though, and thouroughly enjoyed what had been made for him. For a little while he had forgotten Ms. Doyle was there. Then she reminded him of her presence...

"I hope the meal was enjoyable." She smiled at him.
Mrs Doyle stood up to clear away the plates, she sighed looking over to where her husband would be sat, and then continued to clear away the dishes. As quiet as she could, Mrs Doyle began to wash the dishes, whilst Tilly stayed with Reven in the dining room.

Reven smiled at Mrs. Doyle. "It was most enjoyable, thank you m'lady." Reven began to stratch Tilly behind the ears, setting her tail to wagging. "There haven't been any killing around here that you are aware of, have there?" Reven realized how random the question might sound, but having been in the English countryside without much to do was forcing him to collect information by other means. " I was also wondering if there were any S.T.A.R.S. Departments anywhere around here. You see, I am here for Umbrella compiling statistics, most of which would be more easily attainable if I could talk to someone from S.T.A.R.S." Reven leaned back in his chair, placing his hand on his stomach.

Mrs Doyle entered the room again.
"No there aren't any STARS sections here;....*she looked depressed*.....are you here to survey my husband?"
She looked so upset and helpless.
"He is going back to work at the school he promised, Umbrella........*looking over to the empty place where he would have sat*.........he's there right now I assure you."
Panic stricken she found it hard to speak, she was so worried about her husband, and Umbrella had warned them that is he wasn't performing someone would come and purswade him to do so. She had not suspected that Reven was that man,...but hearing him mention Umbrella made her jump.

Reven sat straight up, hearing Mrs. Doyle's words. For the first time since he had gotten to England, he felt that he had heard something worth interest. It had no apparent connection to what Reven's own mission was, but knowing Umbrella, it was probably more closely connected than he thought. He stroked his thin beard for a minute, trying to figure out how to get more information out of this woman without making her fear for her husband's life. He decided he would be truthful with the woman, after all, you never know where you might find an ally. "Mrs. Doyle, I amk going to speak frankly with you," he said as he leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms over his chest. He was starting to wonder how Umbrella kept their eye on him. "I want to be working with Umbrella probably as much as your husnband wants to. They have information that I need however. They know who I am. Yes, I have a name, yes I have fake I.D.s, and various other effects needed to make a person real, but I have no real memory of anything that happened in my life before I worked for Umbrella. That wasn't more than four years ago. There is something wrong with that. I am here under orders from Umbrella, but as far as I know they have nothing to do with your husband. Mrs. Doyle," he said, with a desperate look in his eye. "I need to know the location of the school you have mentioned. I must gain access." Reven knew what the repercussions of spilling so much information might be. If the need was enough for Umbrella, they could send assassins. Reven smiled, Then I might actually have to do something here... he thought to himself. He felt liberated, for the first time since he started his carreer for Umbrella, he actually felt like he had a mind of his own...
