Thank you, thank you, tis a long day I've had, and a good night of rest is what I'll be wanting. *Tulana noticed the elven female acting shy, then looking in her pockets, probably for coinage. She started to walk over to her, out of curiousity when the thunder boomed, and a stranger strode up to the bar*
Hmmm, interesting, this place get more interesting by the hour *Pulling some parchment and bottle of ink out of her pocket and a feather out of the cap she wore, she jotted down notes: minotaur, centaur, snake tattoo, shy elf* Looks like a good tale is in the making.

Standing a little away from those near him he faces the bar with his hands concealed beneath his cloak.
"Bar keep! Yes my good man, your wine does not seem to be to my taste but it is your ale that the patrons are fond of it seems. Perhaps a large ale will suit me better. "
Seeing the large gentleman enter the inn and clearly insult his companion with the slip of a coin, Mant leans in to the bar giving the bar keep the coin he required for the ale and then returning his hands beneath his robe (ready for action). Attempting to charm the man for some information.
"Bar keep" in a slightly lower voice " do you know the name of that man whom just entered as I fear he may not be long with us. Also a rear exit should that be in our need."

Nope, sorry fella. No back door, and never saw him before. Just another traveler like yourself.Turning back to the shy elf. Wine's only 6 silvers girl. Here ya go. Handing her her drink he looks at the minotaur, trying to guage if there's going to be trouble.

Tellyna smiled as she set the coins on the table, then took a sip of her wine as she sat down once again at her former spot. She was very curious by now, what with all the new stragners entering the inn.deciding that now was as good of a time as ever to make a friend or two, she walked over to Tulana. "Hello, I'm Tellyna." She greeted with a friendly smile.

*Humming softly while jotting down her notes, her thoughts were suddenly interrupted by a soft voice saying, "Hello, I'm Tellyna." Tulana looked into friendly eyes, and couldn't help but smile herself.* Well, hello to yeself "I'm Tellyna" *Then laughed, so the elf maiden would know she was just joshing on her*
Tellyna, Tellyna, must write down that name here on me parchment, such a pretty name it is too. Ah, me manners escape me. *Putting away her parchment, ink, and sticking the feather back into her cap, Tulana gave a sweeping bow* I am, most humbly of course, Tulana Cerise, singer extraordinare, teller of tales, musician of the most nimble of fingers, dancer on the lightest of feet. And so happy to be making the acquaintance of such a fine lass as yerself.
*Straightening up, Tulana picked up her tankard of ale* Here girl, follow me to me perch, and tell me what brings ye to this neck of the woods. *But instead of the fireplace stool, Tulana sat down at a table near the bar, as she did not want to miss out on the conversations now taking place. Things were getting a little too interesting to miss a word of.*

Kai was barley missed in the Tavern, he had waited back quietly at the entrance to the town, but as far as he could tell they had not been followed. He decided to have a a little look around the place, as busy Inn's were not really his thing at all.

Mistress Suki finishes her argument with the Land Lord and proceeds to drain a very large tankard of ale in a single go (for stress releif purposes naturally). She is bored and thinks the music stinks and the crowd looks like a bunch of idiots to her. She moves over to an empty table behind the group that has just come in and takes a seat behind Johnathon so she can overhear the stranger's conversation. She orders more ale and continues to drink heavily, it is getting harder for her to keep her thoughts to herself, if she keeps drinking she is going to become very disruptive... Mistress suki is in need of some pigeons and the strangers look like easy targets to her (the fact that she is drinking like a fish is starting to effect her judgment..)

With out much thought, at least as much as his drinks order, Mant decidies to step into the fray. Walking up to a spot at the bar near the large chap that had just entered.
" Well met my fine fellow, my name is Mant Tallow, I'm new to these parts and you appear to certainly know you way around this bar room."
With a broad and friendly smile Mant indicates the large minotaur scratching the back of his head "unusual choice of place to deposit your coin, from the song the bard sang before I get the distinct feeling that he would be quite feared about these parts. My apologies I do go on. What might your name be and how do you come to be at this inn on such a terrible night."

Tellyna smiled as she followed Tulana. "Tis a lovely name you have there, Tulana. Reminds me of my mother, Tewana." Tellyna said with a sigh as she sipped her wine. "I'm just here looking for an adventure, something to do namely. As well as firgure out who I am and what life has in store for me. I couldn't do that at home, living like a high elf, having things done for me. It was quite nice, but still." She informed as she took another sip of wine. "Well, what brings you here? You have a lovely singing voice might I add." She smiled as she shrugged off her cloak, underneath she was wearing a dark purple dress embroidered with green and silver ivy vines.

The barkeep happily refills the elf minstrel's mug, for it is known far and wide that they are the most respected of bards. How could he refuse to give one a drink in his tiny establishment. We've prepared a room for you. If you intend to stay the night. Just as he hands the bard her ale, thunder crashes outside and the sky open up with a fury. Well, looks like no more traveler's tonight. No sane person'd be out on a night like this. As if to punctuate his stament another huge crash of thunder follows a lightning flash so bright the night looked like day for a split second. Then, the inn's door swings wide with the next crash of thunder. Framed in the ensuing flashes of lightning is a huge man, soaked and dripping, a snake tattoo upon his forearm visible in the brief flashes of lightning. Innkeep! You got a room? You know...I'm not sure. But if not, I'll let you stay in the common room after closing for 1 gold.Common room is enough, just need a place to wait out this damnable weather. Here's the coin, and another for a tankerd of your finest The stranger tosses the two gold coins wide of the barkeep, bouncing them off the back of the minotaurs head. Ha! Couldn't a done any better if i'd a aimed 'em thar. He continues laughing, as he walks to the bar to collect his drink. Johnathon gets up from his stool and just polite stares at the large man as he gets his drinks. "Excuse me sir, but I believe you owe me an apology." He seems definately terse over this whole situation.

Mistress Suki overhears the Johnathon and watches him move towards the bar. She silently moves to follow him when his back is turned.

As this situation is heading in the direction a blind man could lead him, Mant steps back a little from Jonathon and the tattooed man along the bar. Hands beneath his cloak ready to aid his companion if needed.

Noteing the rather dishonorable way in which the man paid for his drink and room, he turns to hime and in a cold even voice states," That was rather rude of you, I am not familiar with the custums of this land, but I do feel that you do indeed owe the gentleman the appology he has requested. Honor dictates that you do so, and common sence agrees.(sp)"

"Yes, yes, a fine singing voice I have, if not the finest in the land. And it's because of this that I travel so, can't be denying the folks of such a pleasure now, can I? Being the wanderer that I am, I'm able to pick up on all the news to write into my songs and tales. What's the point of being a bard, if ye've nothing to sing or tell about, ey?"
*Tulana's hand slips beneath the table, to her belt, her fingers brushing against the whip coiled on it.*

Please fellas, no rough stuff in the the bar. His hands reaching under the counter for his sword the bartender pleads with you and the newcomer.
Apologize!?! Aplolgize to this ANIMAL? I think I'd rather drink horse urine, which couldn't be much worse than this brew you've served me barkeep. I'll have his head to adorn my wall, and your's too if you keep reachin' under the bar there friend. As to apologies, he should apologize to me for interfereing with my coin toss.
The stranger draws his short sword as these last words leave his lips.
