i think I read that the psy warror is get a majorly reworked but it not in a good way. They getting the fighters BAB but they get less power pionts and less powers to choose from.
As to the dicussion ya'll were haveing on psocis. It all really depends on the GM. The Gm I play with lets the ps.warror get a d10 and afughtser BAB and abiouyt 2or3 more PP and staight Psno getsa d6 instead of a d4 for HP As to the Monk being really broken yes in some ways they are and if you add the Quinntsenly Monk oh yes they are even more broken. But if you the one who saves the party from a complete party wipe its a good thing. But I lke the martal artist much better its not as broken or as supernatral as the monk and forcees more on the unarmed combat and it gives you stuff that only works if you don't wear armor and to me it seems a bit more balanced and you can multyclass with it. That makes it a lot more fun

actually, ive gotten my hands on Monte Cook's Unearthed Arcana and the magic system is pretty good. And if it wasnt so setting specific and replaces DnD magic completely, id be using it when i run my campaigns. Not to mention i need to read it more thoroughly before i try any real integration.
As to the psion/psy warrior issue, the new book comes out in april but they are feeding the obsessed types bits and pieces until it is released. like a couple of the psy powers being swapped over and becoming skills outright, in a way similar to how Star Wars handles force powers (which in most cases arent any different than psychic powers).
A couple changes my groups have made (believe it or not, the gaming crew sort of adopts revisions for all the campiagns we play in, so if we're playing in someone else's DnD, we're almost always using the same rules) in regards to psychics are as follows:
d6 hit points for the psion and 1 extra power discovered when they learn their new discipline (meaning when they discover that "+d" on the list, it's actually 1+d). And one extra psychic feat at 5, 10, 15 & 20.
Psy warriors, no real change beyond fighter attack bonus and the ability to choose psychic feats as well as fighter feats when a bonus feat comes up.
Psi powers didnt get much of an update, if there's similar spell in 3.5, we use those effects instead. Durations to match, otherwise the psions would have an advantage. 'sabout it.
