Liveoak quietly slips inside the temple nodding to the priestess in greeting but not wanting to interupt the story.

SHe nodded in return, then continued, "I was thinking we may want to start heading out there either sometime today or tomorrow, depending on how long it will take us to prepare, I for one need to change." She said, "And I can offer two hundred gold pieces to each of you for helping us."

A husky voice ebbs from the shadows: You wish to pay for an adventurer's trouble? I have been traveling for some time now, and would like to offer my assistance. { stepping from the shadows a young half-elf appears wearing a deerskin colored cloak, with a wakizashi sword at his side, looking, and smelling for that matter, very woodsy} Would it be good with you, were I to join m'lady?

OOC: it is midday
Krystal smiles and nods her head to the newcommer, he reminds her of someone she used to adventure with in her younger days, a ranger named Dutt. "By all means, the more the merrier." She smiled, then stood. "I for one am going to go change into something more suitible for the occasion, if you need anything, food, beverage, feel free to ask, something will be fetched for you." She said, before stepping out of the room, leaving the panther sitting upon the floor staring intently at the party, its blue eyes ever watchful.
"This is going to be interesting..." It muttered to itself.

Before Krystal begins her speech, Denise decides that these potential employers are not worth her trouble, so she spins on her heels and walks out the door and out of sight. She passes a gruff looking, chainmail wearing, axe weilding dwarf on the street. The dwarf is walking with determined purpose for the temple. He notes that is where the huffing, pretty lady came from, so he decides to go there also. Without being asked or invited, the dwarf enters the temple, and gruffly announces. Romlin's the name. I'm here for the adventure. He goes and takes a seat at the table, looking annoyed that there is no ale for him to drink. OOC: Denise was too insulted to remain with the group. But Romlin, the dwarf fighter/cleric, he has much thicker skin.

The panther looks at the dwarf and rolls her eyes as Krystal returns dawning a more suitable attire for the adventure, "Oh.. I see we have another adventurer... Could someone please be a dear an explain to this fine fellow the mission? I need to converse with some of the clerics here and get a few things settled, and another thing, will we be heading out today?" She smiles friendly at the group before excusing herself and speaking to a young man donning a robe.

Valandil coughed, "I'm fine to leave whenever, I have all I need with me. " Turning to his bird he said, " That panther looks hungry, you sure you want to stick around?" He said jokingly. The raven stared at him, and flew off. Valandil laughe

Aerianna stands again, double checking that her longsward is with her. "Well, I've got all I need..." Aerianna added, smiling at the group. Noting to herself with a smile that this party is looking quite a lot more like an adventure party, she decided to explain a little to the newcomers.
"Hello and welcome to all of the people who just walked in. If you hadn't guessed, we are going to be going out to find a missing artifact that was stollen not that long ago from this temple by what we assume is a band of theives. This artifact has powers beyond their knowledge and if they were to become aware of this power, I would hate to think what would come of it." She explained simply. "My name is Aerianna by the way, and Krystal is the Priestes of the Night in charge of this adventure. All we have to do now is wait for Krystal and we'll be on our way..." Aerianna trailed off, looking around at all the different faces.
She almost had to take a double take when her eyes fell upon a half-elf ranger standing in the corner. He appeared so familiar, yet she couldn't quite place where from. Figureing that she would remember aventually, she let the matter fall to the back of her mind, though she was still curious.

Krystal came back a while later, rapier in the scabard on her belt along with rolls of parchment, three daggers, and a coin purse. "Well, lets be off then." SHe smiled, the hair at her temples pulled back into a small braid behind her head as she exited the temple, expecting the others to follow behind her.

If we are to travel together, I believe introductions may be in order. {bows gracefully, while keeping an eye on the party} I am Aonaran Duinesaoi, from the Eastern Cliffs at the Seaway.

I am Thulian, a simple jester by trade. I have performed in many fine manors at many faires, but I've decided to take up the mantle my uncle left for me and go adventuring.

Looking anxious that they're still standing around, the dwarf shrugs his shoulders and gruffly states: I'm Romlin from the Iron Hills. I'm reliable, cranky, hungry, thirsty, and enjoy sending anyone or anything evil to their graves. And I cook a powerful good camp stew. He nods with satisfaction as an ever so slight smile crosses his lips.

Valandil eyes them, and nods, " You may call me Duran," He said as he began to walk out of the temple, " we won't find anything standing around here."
