"No, I don't want her to be... started Jerick, then he mentaly scremed, as Psurlon, feeling sudden weakness, pressed its mental assault against Jerick's mind "ALRIGHT, GO AHEAD, DAMN YOU! AND TAKE FULL CONTROL AGAIN, I CAN BEAR IT MUCH LONGER!!!

"As you say" replies O'Kir, taking full control over Jerick's mind and body once again, and forcing Jerick's body to raise on its feet once again...
[OOC:] "I guess, it is Psurlons' turn now, isn't it?" [/OOC:]

Stepping back out of the shadows once again, Nos Uthanra moves his hands back and forth and chants a quick spell. He completely fades from sight.

<OOC - New Rule. When engaging in combat manuevers that aren't easily explained in text (spells, etc.) explain them in OOC. For example, if you cast a fireball spell, mention that, so that I don't think its a meteor swarm. Likewise, if you attack a monster with your vorpal axe, mention that its vorpal. However, if the axe bursts into flames as you speak a command word, it is unnecessary to say that its a flame tongue, etc.>

The psurlons spread apart and back away, obviously frustrated about how long its taking to kill such a puny mortal. Unrelenting, the two master psionicists assault Jerick mentally as best they can. As if he was being bisected hundreds of times, Jerick's mind feels drained of blood as its circuitry is scrambled. Another barrage of attacks come in and O'Kir's presence is suddenly divorced from Jerick's mind, sent away and leaving the fighter to defend himself in the mental realm against the two psurlons.
<OOC - Jerick, we are going to depict your battle with the psurlons in a mental scape from here on (until someone gains victory there or either of your bodies' are disrupted). Thus, you can portray Jerick however you wish, but keep in mind that the psurlons will be FAR more powerful.>
Jerick's mind-self peers over the battlements of a tall iron tower surrounded by a thick fog - the last defenses that O'Kir managed to forge before his untimely ejection. He cannot see it, but the presence of the psurlons is coming closer - their prowess seems to move the air itself. Perhaps it is wise to check if O'Kir managed to stockpile weapons in the tower...
The rutterkin are fazed by Nos Uthanra's sudden dissapearance, but do not seem to mind. Three slingblades fly through the air at Darkwalker.

Hmph, demons. Big, bad and very, very stupid.
Stepping next to one of the rutterkin, Nos Uthanra rams a wickedly barbed dagger at the back of its neck.
While I am unsure if demons breath, I've often found that severing something's spine puts it out of commission.

The dagger sinks into the rutterkin's throat, seeking its spine. However, the malformed nature of the beast causes the carefully trained strike to miss its target and merely tear into the fleshy throat of the monster. Angered, the rutterkin drops its slingblade and immediately lunges at Nos Unthara with a sharp, jagged sword

Mental shape of Jerick is dressed in same black leather clothes as real Jerick was, but it dosn't appear to be as powerfuly built as real Jerick was, and dosn't seem to appear as calm and confident either. With his mask of calmness and confidence gone, Jerick appear to be far more human then real Jerick was; perheps, that's how Jerick looked, before he was forced to become cyborg to survive.
Feeling as the presence of the Psurlons is getting closer and closer; Jerick quickly ran to the iron tower. In the narrow corridors, it will be much easier to fight Psurlons, and perheps, he would find something, which he will be able to use as weapon there.

Dancing lightly back out of range of the dangerous blades, Nos Uthanra allows himself to fade out of sight with his Improved Invisibility.
*Hmm, thinks Nos Uthanra, This could be a little more tricky. I never knew that demons were immune to my stealthy attacks. It always seemed to work before. It appears if the master of this place has changed the rules of things somewhat. Well, no problem, two can play at that game.*
Laughing gaily, Nos Uthanra scoops up one of the fallen sling blades and hurls it past the rutterkin and at the psurlons. Then he cries out in abyssal, immitating the gutteral voices of the rutterkin as best he can, "Worms die for the master!"

The psurlon, unmoving, stood litting chance at avoiding the slingblade. Though it tried to dodge, the slingblade hit it under the left arm and slashed it. Pulling its mind back from Jerick's, leaving the other to take care of the fighter, the psurlon growls slightly. Its mind lashes out at Nos Uthanra and attempts to gain a foothold.
Mortals not skilled in the ways of the planes always seem to amuse me... mused the Dark Knight I had thought it impossible to find a being who didn't know that a rutterkin's mangled physiology renders them almost immune to attacks designed to incapacitate, or cripple... one of the reasons why they have never been taken alive. Do they know that its strength is also its weakness? We shall see....

<OOC - as a general note, I just wanted to mention that many of the monsters have been changed from their original design by the Dark Knight. The changes are rarely cosmetic or trivial, but usually exaggerate one or more of the monsters' characteristics, making them both more unpredictable to players who look them up in the monster manual (and thus learn their weaknesses, etc.) and more able to survive in the lethal combat environment (ex: the rutterkins' mangled forms and knack for inventing weapons have been amplified to give them an anatomy that's extremely difficult to relate to tactically and a high sense of battle strategy). This is not done as an unfair measure, but is simply to increase the challenge and vary the environment>

<ooc, no problem. Just a little surprised is all. You do remember that I am completely invisible with improved invisibility. How can the Psurlon target something it cannot see?/ooc>
Nos Uthanra, seeing the Psurlon's looking around for him, quickly throws up another spell to make himself still harder to find.

Meanwhile in the mental scape, Jerick was completely unaware about aid coming from the outside. He reached the entrance to the iron tower, walkd in, and looked around.

<OOC - Hussar - I can't give away too much, but keep in mind that psurlons don't have eyes, noses, or ears, and have to perceive the world through other means>
The psurlon attacking Nos Uthanra hits him hard with a psychic crush, immobilizing him and causing him to shake with pain. Nos Uthanra feels voices whispering in his head telling him to serve the psurlon's will.
Jerick goes into the tower quickly, feeling the psurlon's presence coming closer. Inside lies a single weapon's rack supplied with a meager choice. A large, spiked warhammer, much too big for Jerick leans against the wall. A pair of stout, iron spears of moderate length, such that Jerick could use them, but with difficulty, lay in the rack. Next to it lays an elegantly made bow, which appears heavy, yet usable. In addition, a scarlet scourge, and a toothy, serrated short-sword lay secured in the rack; possibly easy enough for Jerick to use without any problems. Attached to the inside wall of the tower is a long coil of rope, a medium shield, and what appears to be a miniature, almost toy-like picket fence.
