Hail, Tellyana. The name's Waldo Figgensdale, and I'm in charge of this operation. says Waldo, authoritatively, Are you here to ambush us, or should we welcome you as a friend? And you, mage. Good answer. Let's see if its correct
Waldo doesn't wait for Tellyana's answer, but instead pushes the symbol for pie with a gloved finger, his other hand tightly grasping his battleaxe.
<OOC - Sorry guys. My guy is extremely arrogant, and I'm just playing him as such. Nothing personal; just a warning>

With the door now unlocked you’re able to push it open to peer into a room densely filled with cobwebs, and a foul, stale odor lurks from within. The light shining in reveals the large tiger, waiting just inside for you, curled up as if she had been napping. With a tooth filled yawn she stands and stretches out her muscular body, and slowly moves towards you, with a stealth grace. Wearing what appears to be a smirk upon her face
As you can see, this room is approximately 10’ x 10’. Stepping forward, about 2’ into the room you are able to make out a stairway leading downwards some 10’ opening into a 20’ x 80’ long room. There are two doors. 1 is located 50’ along the western wall. Another is on the northern wall. As you look around you can see intricate murals, of various settings, such as a garden, desert, jungle, river bank, cave, a rocky crag, All done with such intricate detail that it seems real. In all of these murals you can see glinting eyes, staring out at you, caused by various gems, of rubies, sapphires, malachite, peridot, topaz, emeralds, amethysts, and diamonds sparkling in the flickering torchlight. Making the murals appear as if they have come to life
The tiger then disappears. When she reappears she’s a mere three feet from the party, her mossy green eyes glittering with something that could not be identified. Her body so well blending into the darkness around her, her presence would have easily gone unnoticed had she not spoken once again
Perhaps you have learned something from your previous encounters? I do hope so, for your quest is not yet over, nor has it strayed far from the beginning. I suggest you heed our warnings and give much thought to things, or my counterpart and I may just have the chance to gorge ourselves on some fresh meat
Licking her lips and stretching out her body, her claws, making a loud high pitched squealing noise as she sharpens them on the stone floor. Her tail swishing silently in anticipation as she pulls her lips back, revealing large feline fangs, the look almost resembling a smile, she then vanishes

Dantri nods to the newcommers distractedly and almost jumps otu of his armor when the tiger appears. [glow=silver,2,300]"Oh...it's you again."[/glow] After listening to the information she has to impart, he cringes as she sharpens her claws upon the stone and vanishes. [glow=silver,2,300]"Argh....I hate it when they do that......kills my head."[/glow] Saying that, Dantri cautiously steps into the room, holding his greataxe tightly in his hands as he looks around and the murals. [glow=silver,2,300]"Now THAT is some craftsmanship there. I'd hate to think how long it too them to make that."[/glow]

*Jarvin steps through the doorway cautiously and takes in the murals* "I-I-I'd like to think of how much g-g-g-g-gold they'd fetch"

"Hello. I'm Geoff - one of the swordarms of the group. Well Spark, that was some fine puzzle solving. I'd ask you what this pi is that you mentioned, but it would probably make my head hurt. And welcome to our little group, you new comers. Did you enjoy the greeting from the furry one? Hey Waldo. You're going to share those coins, right?" Geoff says with his usual grin.

Dantri shrugs. [glow=silver,2,300]"Eh, don't worry...the other one is still lurking around here somewhere.....not sure where though. She'll scare you just abuot as bad.....but I don't think they're here to kill us, per se, but they might not be adverse to helping our opponents if we don't heed thier warnings...."[/glow] The speculative look on his face fades and he looks around confusedly. [glow=silver,2,300]"Um....what was I saying?"[/glow]

Tellyna glared at Waldo, but she wasn't going to comment on his being leader. "I like the Tiger, there's another that talks?" tellyna said with a smile. "Good." She was ignoring Waldo completely at this point, walking up to Jarvin and gently placing a hand on his shoulder. "You okay Jarvin? You sound a bit frightened." She spoke softly as she surveyed the room. "Pretty jewels... " She breathed out as she walked into the center of the room. She felt uneasy here, she looked around for any hint of movement. "You know the creepy thing about this place? If there was something hidding in here, it would look like part of the murals... Let's be very careful." She said as she glanced around, she didn't see anything, perhaps she was just being paranoid, but it was better safe than sorry, besides, she actually wanted to live through this.

*Looks at Tellyna* "F-f-f-frightened? No, j-just wary. I agree with you on the murals, we should be c-c-c-c-cautious with them.. but if we could sell them..." *steps towards a mural for a closer look, but remains several arms-lengths away to refrain from touching it*
<OOC - just to clarify, Jarvin just tends to speak with a stutter>

Hmmm, I'm not liking this at all... if there's anything I've learned so far from this place, it's "don't touch anything or you get your head chopped off. I suggest that if...if we try to take any of this, we do it on the way out... when we're most likely running anyway. Spark begins messing around with his spell components again, trying to psych himself up for whatever may be trying to kill him next. Say, maybe later we can swap some spells, Telly. I assume you're a mage, from the lack of armor. I have a feeling we may both need as many spells as possible in here. *heh, talk about 'water, water everywhere but not a drop to drink. This is a metaphorical goldmine... but I prefer my innards...well, in-ards.*

Fear not, young Spark! We shall untangle this mystery soon enough. There are too many talking cats around for this to be dangerous. After all, how smart can they be? says Waldo, nonchalantly.
He hefts an axe in one hand, a warhammer in the other. Edging forward into the room slowly, the ranger prods the space before him with his warhammer, keeping his axe raised and ready to strike. As he reaches the entrance to the room, just before turning into it, he looks back at the others and nods once to indicate that the coast is clear. With a quick hop, he enters the room and keeps his back to the wall.

Yeah, how smart can talking wolves and tigers be? Spark retorts sarcastically. Hey, um... Telly? Jarvin? I suggest that we stay back here while our human trap-detector does his thang. He quietly suggests to the two.

From the door a robed man enters the room, the robe covers all his body but his head, he has long black hair, dirty from lack of cleaning. it covers most of his face, but his eyes have a trouble look to them almost a dead look. of a man that has been threw a lot in his short time.
He asks"Do any of you know anything about this place" in a mono tone. and a look that does not care who they people he is talking to are.
Once he finished talking, he coughs a cough of a very sick man, he turns his head, and his right have comes out from his robe, to cover his mouth. in his hand is a silver dagger, that is curved, and is pointed down his wrist. as he uncovers his hand from his mouth, you see a little blood on his hand. He hides his hand in his robe, and waits for a replay from the people ahead.

*still looking at the mural, Jarvin nods absentmindedly at Sparks suggestion. Then looks up at the dirty robed man* "A-a-all I kn-know is that this place is f-f-f-filled with t-talking animals, pointy traps, and expensive looking treasures" *turns back to the garden mural and moves just a tad closer, trying to see if it is hung in a way that makes it easy to remove, or if it may be booby-trapped*

Jarvin! whispers Waldo, loudly Come in here and give me some backup. Powers know how lost this group would be without an able leader around...
