Standard methods of interplanar travel or communication don't work, but communication in the form of spells still work. In addition, planar shifts to the Astral (and only the Astral) is allowed.

Does that mean that we can cast summoning spells?

Technically, yes. However, that is in violation of one of the arena's rules.

ooc - now, hang on a tic. I'll accept tremorsense or blind sense or whatever to spot me while invisible. Granted it only usually works out to about 30 feet or so, which means I should have nailed the psurlon with a sneak attack when I attacked him meaning I should have done considerable more damage. Fair enough.
I do know though, that the only way a psionic can attack a non-psionic is psionic blast. Last time I checked, that was a cone effect which should have nailed me, possibly Darkwalker and most of the Rutterkin as well.
I'll accept some monkeying with the rules, fair enough, but when you are going to start tossing all the rules out the window simply to make your creatures tougher, that's not fair. When every one of our abilities are countered, it does make things pretty impossible. ooc.

Hussar - Psionic blast is the only way a psionic can attack a non-psionic in order to do damage. However, a psionic can use any psionic attack to hit a non-psionic when they are attempting to force the mind open and subsequently make contact (that's where MAC and MTHAC0 come into play).
As for the psurlons' sight... their native environment is the Astral plane, where there are very few footholds and no air (which throws physical means of detection out the window), and only a 200ft range of vision. Since they all but rule that plane (posing a huge threat even to the githyanki), it is implicit that they can see at least that far.

While I am in the mental scape, think of my physical attributes as following:
Strength: 15 (+2) Dexterity: 13 (+1) Constitution: ? (+?)

Eldritch Knight wrote:
"Jerick.... it says, in an eerily loud whispery voice Yield and you shall go from here without scars, without pain... Stay and you shall know my true prowess..."
Q: Was this said by the giant, or by the greatsword, that lay at Jerikc's feet?

The giant is the one who spoke.
Also, Jerick, consider that in the mindscape, your strength, dexterity, and constitution scores do not apply in the normal sense. In this case, your intelligence score would replace your strength, and your wisdom would determine your dexterity.
