As soon as the phaerimm reveals itself, Gamar's mind shifts into combat mode and he seems to transform from the old, cooky man into the dangerous Masked Enclave assassin who's name has become a household word in some places in the north.
Standing up all of a sudden, Gamar reaches out with his mind and pushes the phaerimm, attempting to throw it to the other side of the bar and slam it against the wall. Simultaneously, he pulls two well-wrought longdaggers from his robes and assumes a dangerous fighting pose.

Gamar notices the other nondescript man instantly. His mind shifts into combat mode and Gamar seems to transform from the old, cooky man into the dangerous Masked Enclave assassin who's name has become a household word in some places near his home. Standing up all of a sudden, Gamar reaches out with his mind and pushes the man approaching him, attempting to throw him to the other side of the bar and slam him against the wall. Simultaneously, he pulls two well-wrought longdaggers from his robes and assumes a dangerous fighting pose. [OOC:] Eldritch Knight, you might wish to change this post oof yours a little, as no man is approaching you anymore; nondescript man changed into monstrous creature after Erianna hit it with a chair, and now this creature is hovering near the celing of the inn, involved in magic combat with Erianna. Even though a bit confused by rather unusual variation of Wall of Ice the second creature quickly countered Erianna's attack with a spell of its own; it disappeared from Erianna's ball-shaped Wall of Ice and reappeared once again near the celing, but closer to Erianna this time. Erianna's ball-shaped Wall of Ice crushed into the floor and broke into multiple shards, but fortunately it fall too far from the rest of the friends for shards to harm anybody.

<OOC - I can't remember what book I saw it in, but Aganazzar's scorcher is like a shooting a jet of fire directly at a single opponent and immolating them. As I recall it was a 3rd lv. spell. >

(OOC - I've got 1e books....someone explain: Aganazar's Scorcher, or I can't post a response.) [OOC:] Okay, we will explain it to you a little. It is rather low-power spell (2nd spell level) and it allows caster to release a beam of fire into target. Of course, target may try to dodge this beam of fire (in AD&D that would mean saving throw against breath weapon; in 3.0 edition of D&D it would mean reflex saving throw). I hope, I helped you to understand this spell a little. Even if you won't be able to dodge it, it shouldn't be powerful enough to kill you, just scourch you a little. [/OOC:]

As soon as the creature released its beam of fire into Erianna, Gamar's mind attack struck it, pushing it away from Erianna. Even though Gamar's mind attack wasn't powerful enough to crush heavy creature into the opposite wall, at last it prevented the creature from engaging Erianna into melee combat, where the creature would certainly have an advantage over Erianna.

Gamar ducks behind a table so that he was behind cover but could still see the phaerimm, and begins to heat up the metal on 5 of his throwing daggers, while simultaneously donning a pair of thick leather gloves.

*Not being quick enough, the creature's beam of fire hits Erianna in her left shoulder, burning a hole through her blouse material and scorching her skin. She takes the best course of action, which is to propel herself down to the ground, and duck behind the bar. Tearing away the material, she examines her shoulder to make sure the damage is not spreading.*
*Peeking over the top of the bar, she attempts another spell to try and disable the creature, thus giving Gamar a chance to finish it off.* Cast Web *and a mass of sticky fibers encompasses the creatures arms and head.*

With its rather large size, creature had no chance of avoiding the sticky webs, and Erianna's spell instantly entangled it. However, the creature remained hovering near the celing, as apparently creature's ability to fly was magical by nature, and weight of the web was not enough to pull it down. Unable to make gestures, necessary for casting its spells, the creature begins to tear web apart, trying to free at last its arms to continue the magical battle. With creature's strength, it will not take it long to free its hands, but for now, creature seems to be unable to cast any spells.
