A dragon hunter flew up onto the ledge and landed right leg first then slowly set down his left... He looked around feeling at a loss... He was not used to being so close to so many Dragon's without any of them trying to attack him. He wore gold-colored armor and his helmut had two small white wings pointing backwards off the steel... He had a pair of smaller Dragon wings on his back which he used to fly... Behind them he had an assortment of weapons... Most of which were designed for peircing Draconic armor... His wings glowed a eerie blue then vanished into his back... He looked around for a moment and moved to the young commander and nodded his head slightly.
"Were do I sign up?"
On his shoulder pad, imprinted was a Black Dragon with a spear impaling it... A symbol that confirmed a Dragoon... And how many of them confirmed his rank. He had only one symbol... But one was all he needed to command respect from other Dragoons.

Just then, a rider on a silver dragon lands on the nearby platform. The rider's silvery armor is decorated with a draconic motif, surmounted by a white cape. This looks like an experienced dragon-rider, but as he dismounts, he slips a bit and falls off, showing that he hadn't ridden for very long.
He rises to his feet and looks toward his steed.
"You shouldn't try to dismount so quickly, young one. Patience is key if you're going to survive this.", the dragon says to the rider via the telepathic link which bonded the two.
"I'm trying. I'll get the hang of it soon enough.", the rider responds with a youthful voice, removing a helmet which resembled the head of a dragon to reveal the shoulder-length mane of silver hair which decorated his head. The youth then turns to look around the area with a pair of piercing azure eyes, sizing up the situation and trying not to appear nervous.

"I serve Lord Kelemvor, God of the Dead and Judge of the Damned." replied Esvele proudly "I was once a warrior in service of Kelemvor's clergy, but lately, my ties with Kelemvor's clergy has grown weak. And even so, I remain faithful to Kelemvor, and always ready to fight for the worthy cause, especially if it involves dealing with the dead who disturb the life of the living, or dealing with the living who disturb the rest of the dead."

One of the dragons, an older Silver male, arched his neck as he inspected the woman. Seeming to almost smile, the dragon lowered his head to her level. "Who are you Little One, who finds such wonders in watching a group of dragons?" "I-- My name is Thera," the woman said nervously. The cat looked curiously at the dragon, but he didn't seem to be as awed as his master. Thera swallows, then says, "Are you a real dragon?"

Aranil looked at the new arrivals and smiled, "Right here Dragoon. Welcome to you as well dragon knight and noble Silver." He noded to them both as he gave a small salute.
The older silver smiled and noded his head, "Last time I checked Little One..."

The Dragoon nodded and aproached slowly... Being wary of the dragons around him, as was his way. He approached and nodded slightly
"What is the situation... Were can I help... and what supplies do I have access to."

The silver dragon looks apprehensively at the dragoon.
"Dragon-slayer...", she replies to herself as much as her companion. "I'd be careful around his kind. Though many of the foul chromatics have fallen to their blades, too many make little distinction between them and our metallic brethren."
"He doesn't seem like the bad sort, Seth.", the silver-haired knight replies.
"Still, it would be best to be cautious until he proves his true colors."
The knight notes that one of the riders has acknowledged him and his steed. He assumes, quite correctly, that the gold-dragon rider is the field commander of this unit. He walks up to Aranil and nods his head respectfully.
"Well met, friend. I am Elusyius Omni-Wyvernil, Silver Dragon Knight and representative of the Dragon Knights of Bahamut. Hopefully our combined efforts may overcome our common foes."
Recalling his days of adventuring as a paladin, Elusyius draws back upon his knowledge of diplomacy in order to best address the situation. Perhaps being a Dragon Knight wasn't such a large adjustment after all...

"Greetings Knight of Bahamut. Well Dragoon, the situation is fast turning grim for us. Those Netherese have held us off for quite a bit, inflicting many casualties in the process. Many men, women, and dragons have fallen in order to take this fortress... that is why we must attack soon. Once you have been chosen by a Dragon you will ride into the sky to become brothers, but once you come back down ask a guard to show you to your rooms. Once you have all rested we will speak of our strategy in the morn." Aranil smiled as he watched the woman speak with Sareanariaonkras, ~perhaps there is yet hope~
High in the sky Alarria smiled at her rider, "Well Sister, Kelemvor is indeed a worthy God as far as human gods go. I would never dream of coming between you, I'm just as happy going on journeys anyway."

Thera looked over at Aranil as he spoke to the other new arrivals, then back at the dragon. She seems a little less nervous, as if being sure that the silver she was talking to was a "real" dragon made her feel better. The cat jumped down from her backpack and began exploring the area, but Thera didn't seem to notice. "Are you here to help fight?"

The Dragoon nodded slowly.
"Chosen by a dragon... I dont like the sounds of that..."
He said to himself as he moved out to a more open space away from people... He drew his spear and whirled it around from the middle and like lightning his hand moved from the middle to the far blunt end and the spear was at its full length... He retracted it and made an upwards slashing motion followed by a downwards stab... He contined to practise untill he fell into a sort of trance... were it was only him and his weapons... He was his only ally against everything that challenged him.

"I can never imagine you coming between me and Kelemvor, Sister." says Esvele, smiling to Alarria as well "I am too looking forward to traveling and fighting along with you. May we always be together, until the time will come for me to serve My Lord Kelemvor in his realm."

"I've been chosen already.", the Silver Dragon Knight says, looking back at his silvery steed. "So I'll just sit back for now and let the others mingle."
Elusyius walks over and stands next to Sethyria, his silver dragon companion.
"I'm sure they'll find the companions which suit them best."
"Indeed. We dragons do not make these selections lightly. My fellows should soon make their choices, and they'll be for the best, I would hope. Though I can't help but wonder who would be bold enough to take that one over there...", Seth replies, indicating the dragoon brandishing his spear in a distant corner of the area.

~I wish I had been able to feel wonder as a child...~ Aranil thought as he watched the young woman watch the dragons. Smiling he walked towards where the Mage had appeared, "Welcome Magi, are you lost?"He nods I am Corvillion Archaeus. " I am not lost, merely not sure where I am. I was sent here by the Mythril Dragon Knight of Bahamut because he is currently...busy. I swore I would help him and I am here." ((OOC: He is basically my main character Alessandro Siannodel aka Blaize-Blain Arcaneye's Cohort)) The little pseudodragon walked over towards the Dragon Knight Elysius and cocked his head to the side. It looked at him and sent a message to his mind. I saw you...you are friends with my brother's master.

(OOC note to Arcaneye: In this timeline, Elusyius has just become a Dragon Knight, so he wouldn't have met Alessandro yet. It might help to read his profile in the brainstorm thread for details.)
Elusyius' ears prick up at the mention of the Mythril Dragon Knight. Did such a person exist? It had only been rumor until now, that the five would soon be joined by a sixth. Had this truly come to pass? If so, the Platinum Dawn and the return of Bahamut must be closer than expected.
The psuedodragon's words puzzle him further. He can only nod in acknowledgement as his mind tries to establish this new information.

((OOC: I know, I read it, but they don't. They are from that time. Alessandro has been the Mythril Dragon Knight for a little while, but he was sent back for some strange reason he doesn't understand. Just like when As was sent back and forth between the Nine Hells and his homeworld and Treva's brithplace. Bahamut works in weird ways.))
