Mobile Suit Gundam: 06th MS Team

OOC: I felt I had to do this as a Gundam Fan. This takes place on earth in the year UC 0079, during the One Year War between the Earth Federation and Duchy of Zeon. If you want to know more about the history visit www.gundambattlesystem.net The battles begins in whats left of Los Angeles. The 06th MS Team has been fighting for nearly two months, but now they may have the weapons necessary to win... four new RX-79G Ground Type Gundams.

Classes start at Lev 1 as follows: Pilot, Mechanic, Specialist (Sniper, Guerilla, Logistics, Computer use), and Infantryman.

Newtype abilities: No one starts with these as you must experience extreme conditions for these to manifest. If you can give me a good reason I might allow Danger Sense (+1 Dodge)

Lt. Commander Joshua Beauchamp surveyed the city from his perch on his RX-79 EZ8 Gundam as it knelt behind a ridge on the outskirts. His black hair blew in the breeze as he watched an expolsion erupt from near the old Port Authority building. The radio in his cockpit blared, sighing he lowered the Binoculars and listened for a moment.

Aaron watch out behind that shipbuilding scaffold there's a Gouf somewhere near there!

I see him *90mm machinegun fire* He's too fast!

Get out of there, your GM isn't up to it!

I can handle it! Wha- static blared as Josh felt the ground rumble from a massive explosion. He swung down into the cockpit and shut it off, sighing as he settled into the seat and activated the main systems. The hatch closed as the video monitors came to life, showing the surrounding area as if he were the Mobile Suit.

Slowly the Gundam stood from it's kneeling position and walked southward toward the base. "Another fine day here in Hell..."

The sun was setting as he brought his suit into the 06th's hangar. He shut down the systems and blew a low whistle as he opened the hatch, he grabbed the handle and was slowly lowered to the ground. Once his feet hit earth he began walking outside while the maintenance crew started a systems check. Outside the hangar the base was full of activity as soldiers walked about, doing their business.

He walked a short distance and stepped into his team's command tent, walking slowly he went to the far end and sat down at his desk. The tent had a pair of tables, a Television, a Radio, a coffee machine, and a pool table he had brought from his own home. A fan was going full blast near the door attempting to keep the temperature somewhat below outside, also making the three lights hanging from the roof sway about slightly. He glance at the picture near the left corner of his desk, showing himself and five others in front of MS. They all looked happy in their crisp uniforms... he tipped the picture onto it's face and sighed.

Looking at a small stack of papers he noticed that he had been assigned a group of new recruits to pilot the new MS that had arrived yesterday. He looked up as he heard a pair of jeeps pull up outside, "Well, I guess they've arrived..." He leaned back in his chair and smoothed his unruly shirt as he awaited their arrival.

A young man maybe about twenty-three steps through the door flap. His close cropped red hair and brown trenchcoat made him seem a bit southern to some, Though his blue eyes lent him an aura of calm. The patch on his shoulder said he was a registered GM Sniper Pilot, snorting he dropped his duffel by a chair and snapped a lazy salute. "Captain LeBeau reporting as ordered... sir. Oh and you might wanna check the driver into a hospital... heh"

Joshua almost smiled at the man's demeanor and snapped a salute back, "Welcome Captain, please make yourself comfortable while the others make their way here."

John LeBeau noded and walked over to the corner. Smiling he grabbed a poolstick and twirled it about as he headed towards the pool table. He started racking the balls as he whistled an old rock toon.

Joshua watched th young man play pool for a few minutes as he waited. He got up and grabbed a poolstick, sighing he walked over to the table and started playing. "Looks like your the only one that's gonna make it tonight Lebeau... hopefully they will make it by tomorrow."
