My personal favorite race has to be the Imperium of mankind... Vote for your favoite Warhammer 40k race not because of the power on the battlefeild but because of their actual story and cause.

If you are looking for story, nothing beats a good chaos theory... but for single minded determination, look no further than the mighty Imperium of Man.
"You WILL be destroyed. The God-Emperor will have it no other way!"

Well I hate chaos... But thats the byast Imperium theory speaking within me... I enjoy the fluff behind the Blood angel's, Sisters of battle, and Cadian Armies. The blood angel's in particular... The primarch who was missing a good chunk of his torso was hammering down on Horus... Untill horus got that lucky shot in

have to say the Imperialists. been reading Dan Abnett's books on Gaunt's Ghost's-- and i'd have to say that those Imperial Guardsmen have guts. No armor, no fancy weaponry...just how war is meant to be. ;D

Ya the guardsman are my fav for imperial fluff... I like the Cadian's in particular... They always seem to hold even through the toughest odds... For playing in the game I will take my blood angel's over them any day... but the Cadian's rule in the fluff... Then again they have some big arse tanks too.

What? No vote for the Stumpys?!?! I don't care what GW says nowadays. Dwarves were originally in 40K, and there they shall always stay! My Favorite option is not up there, so I'm going to vote for the Stumps!
Second fav is the Imperail Guard ~ Especially the Stell Legion. they just look so billy bad as*!!!

Well actualy they are squats and they fall under the Imperium along with Space Marines, Imperial Guard, and the Sisters of battle. ;D I know they are called SQUATS, but Andy Chambers has said this MANY TIMES = Squats NO LONGER PLAY ANY ROLE IN THE 40K UNIVERSE. There is no intention of ever bringing them back. that STINKS!. I mean and entire squard eqipped with Heavy Weapons... nice. ..................Omote
