Emmy doesn't move. "How do you know my name?" she asks warily.

Lt. Rhenquist pauses briefly and speaks in a blunt tone.
Ms. Renwick, you are new both to this system and to our ways. For your first inter-cultural experience, I give you this: never question the Vestran police. Come - all will be explained at our destination
He takes Emmy's arm and pulls her firmly towards the escort.

"All right, all right!" Emmy says, attempting to tug her way out of the officer's grip. "You don't have to be rude about it." She follows Rhenquist towards the booth (or is dragged, if he does not let go), but does so somewhat reluctantly, keeping a wary eye on the escort and walking as slowly as she can without angering them or the lieutenant.

You reach the police booth without incident, though not a few in the crowd gave you strange looks for having such an escort.
Rhenquist takes you through the station, filled with exoskeleton parts and charge points, to a small interrogation room in the center. Pointing you towards a holoform chair in the center of the room, he pulls up another and sits down.
Ms. Renwick, I must first apologize for my bluntness outside. The Civilian Authority Force can't afford to appear weak in front of the masses. To answer your previous question, we got your name from the transport manifest.
He shifts his chair closer towards you, runs a hand through his hair, and continues
Ms. Renwick, though you may not be aware of it, you are currently living in the middle of a warzone. For decades now, terrorists have been attacking our government, undermining our authority and causing havoc. These attacks are usually vicious and unpredictable, either as precise as the assassination of a government leader or as wide-spread as the shutdown of the power grid. This group is unnamed and its purpose unknown, but we do know that they recruit exclusively men and women possessing superhuman talents; factors that our scientists have been able to isolate and classify, but never reproduce in the lab. Both you and I, Ms. Renwick, possess such talents.
He pauses for a moment and continues to look you straight in the eye. Lifting up an arm and tensing it, a plasteel cup from across the room flies to his hand. He holds it up for a second and then sets it on the ground.
They are here now, Ms. Renwick. Here, in this waiting area, recruiting hapless souls from the recent disaster and perhaps even planning an attack as we speak. Our spies have picked up their activity, but we haven't been able to pinpoint them exactly. We need you, Ms. Renwick, to ferret them out. We need you to help us bring this glorious Empire out of a dark age.

Jerek walks over to the guards still thinking.

Jerek starts walking towards the stationary guards, his head lowered in contemplation. You notice that two guards stand watch on the ground while two hover overhead. Between and slightly behind the guards is a short-range, commercial teletransport portal - possibly leading to the outside. One of the grounded guards flashes Jerek a suspicious glance before determining that he's harmless.

Wendal slowly begins to move towards Jerek. He watches the guards to make sure that they don't seem aggressive.
*OOC - Can you give me the layout of what I can see. Also, how are the guards standing?

The guards are stationed at the edge of the room and have positioned themselves to that they can hold back the crowd if necessary. The two on the ground are at the corners of the teletransport portal, facing away from it and scanning the crowd. The two in the air are about 20 feet off the ground and are looking directly down, so that they have a clear view of the portal, the two guards on the ground, and the crowd.
You also see an access panel near the teletransport portal, apparently to control its activation.

Jaleef enters the waiting area, his small pack slung over his shoulder. Brushing his long dark hair from his eyes, he scans the crowd, not quite sure what he is looking for. The smell and sound of so many people in one spot is a bit disconcerting. He backs his mind out of the "other place" a bit, until it is tolerable. He then finds a spot where he can rest his back, pulls out his handheld light pad and starts a small idealized sketch of the view from the cloudboat.
(ooc: sorry meant to put a quick explanation of the Kisuri fighting system in my bio, the system deals mostly with pressure points, joint locks and exploiting weaknesses in a human body.)
