Ok, just to set the scene a little and recap.
You have just slain the three lion men, or Proud as they are known, who were harrassing an middle aged elven woman dressed in rags. She does not speak common, but, thank's to Kelly's timely Comprehend Languages spell, he has been translating Elven for those who don't speak. As far as I know, only Endil can speak directly with the woman, who has named herself Evelyn. She is currently cowering behind a clump of brush, some distance away and appears very afraid of you all.
Also, please note, for those who missed the session, Grimnoor has become turtle kibbles. The only remaining original member of the Fist of the Dragon Free Company is Kelly.

Turjan shrugs. "This woman can be of great value to us. Our mission is to help Kelly retrieve the shards of the sword of his god. Perhaps this woman can be of great value to us. And save us unnecessary fights. She obviously has been apart from civilization for a long time."
"I am wary and for leaving the island soon. I think our bad luck in losing Grimnoor has followed the rule of the cosmic balance, and given us this woman who may help us complete our quest sooner."
"How can we turn her into an ally? Perhaps she has forgotten she is an elf. We need someone or something to remind her she is not of this island and an elf."

Evelyn crawls through the grass to a nearby mass of small boulders. She moves on all fours like some sort of jungle animal, keeping a wary eye on you at all times. She slowly peeks up over the rocks then ducks back down quickly, obviously very shy. Her hair is somewhat ruffled and patches of dirt stain her pretty cheeks.

Turjan wonders why the others of the group remain quiet. He looks for anything he might have that is of elvish make, to remind her that she is an elf and that elves and humans are not enemies.
He walks forward and lays a small brooch of elvish make that is in the shape of a tree and has elvish writing. He also lays a pair of bracers that the elves of old used to wear, their craftsmanship of exsquisite quality, hoping it will remind her of any elves she may have seen in the past.
Turjan gives a soft clap and a smile and lays both items carefully on the ground. He gestures for the elven maiden to accept them and then walks back 40 feet.
He hopes his gesture of friendship will be accepted.
"Please, we need your help. Im not sure if you can help us but we are friends. We are not evil like the lion creatures that tried to kill you."
Turjan walks away a little further and sits down.

Evelyn peers around the side of the rocks and watches Turjan back away from the items on the ground. She cautiously crawls towards them, ready to spring away in an instant. As she draws near she picks up a broken stick from the grass and stops at a safe distance. She pokes them inquisitively with the stick and hops back incase they might snap at her. When they don't move she smiles and hops foreward again, looking to Turjan as though asking permission to try them on.

Kelly also maintains a distance from the elven woman and translates quietly so as not to alarm her. He will constantly smile at her to try and reassure her that we mean her no harm. He will remind Palai to keep a watchful eye out so no one can surprise us.

Evelyn sneers at Kelly, for he has the look of an old lech about him. She contines to look shyly at Turjan as she sniffs and pokes at the objects laid out before her.

Palai did not really know what to make of Evelyn - the elf woman was very strange, completely unlike Endil, who was the only other elf Palai had spent much time around in his life. Her behaviour seemed very primitive, and Palai thought she must have been away from civilisation for a very long time to have regressed into such a state. He rooted around in his pack to see if he had any food to offer her, but he had been relying on Kelly for food and had none.
By the time he finished looking through his pack, Evelyn was looking curiously at the items Turjan had offered her, so Palai decided it would probably be unnecessary to give Evelyn anything else. Instead Palai took Kelly’s advice and keep a close eye out to make sure that those Proud had not been the only foes in the area.
