As soon as Turanis casted his spell, the image of oasis in his mind became reality. Turanis and his Shield Guardian now stood before small crystalline-clear lake, surrounded by a cluster of bushes and a few small trees. However, not far from the small lake more or less fertile ground ended, giving to dry sandy wastelands. Comparing to the late spring in Celene, Turanis felt intensive heat, even though it was still morning, and Turanis felt, that heat would grow even worse very soon. At some distance Turanis was able to see a cluster of high hills, upon one of them he was even able to distinguish something like tall stone tower; although Turanis was unable to say that it is indeed a tower, not some kind of stony peak, because of the distance.

”Hay, trespasser!” came a masculine voice from behind Turanis’ back ”Who are you, and what are your reasons to intrude His Magnificence’s territory so boldly?”

As Turanis turned to the sound of the voice, he saw a human man and a human woman, standing about twenty feet away from him. Farther away, about one hundred feet from the two, Turanis saw a group of ten more human men and fifteen one-humped camels. All the men are dressed in white robes and turbans.

The man, who stands about twenty feet away from Turanis is dressed in white robes and turban, just as all the other men. He is rather tall, slightly over five and the half feet of height. The man has dusky brown hair, gray eyes and golden tanned skin. Upon his belt, the man wears well-made scimitar and a dagger, while behind his back he carries a well-made shortbow and two quivers of well-made arrows. No armor is visible on the man, although it is possible, that the man wears some kind of light armor under his robes.

The woman, who stands at the man’s right side, is shorter then the man is, and looks more slender then the man. She is too dressed in white robes. She doesn’t wear a turban, but she wears a white hooded cloak, and the hood seem to protect her head from the searing sun well enough. Her face is mostly covered by a veil, leaving only pair of striking hazel eyes and a lock of jet-black hair visible. The woman wears a dagger upon her belt and carries a shortspear behind her back. As it is with the man, no armor is visible on the woman, although it is possible, that the woman wears some kind of light armor under her robes.

Turanis looked at the two as the man spoke, he smiled politely and gave a low bow. "Warrior, I wish no hostility from you or his Arcane Majesty. I am Turanis Altaine, Archmage of Cormanthyr and an admirer of His Excellency's spellcraft. I merely wish an audience with him on a matter of great personal import. Can you help me by directing me in his direction or perhaps allowing me to journey with you 'til I can gain the audience I need?" He made a small gesture to his Guardian, who immediately dropped to one knee in a respectful pose. Reaching into the bag at his waist he found a small leather string and tied his hair into a tail, leaving a pair of hair strands to frame his face.

The man watched Turanis suspiciously, but nevertheless, he bowed his head and said "My name is Jabar, and this is Ramishi at my side"

"So, you are an Archmage" continued Jabar then "Aren't you involved with the Circle of Eight, by chance?"

Turanis paused to think for a moment, at his mental command the robe shift into a light muscle shirt. "No I don't beleive so... My loyalty is to myself and the Weave. I am on an urgent mission and need to speak with his Arcane Majesty." The Guardian stood back to it's full height, seeming to scan the distance with it's glowing ruby eyes.

"If this is so..." says Jabar a bit unsurely.
Then suddenly Jabar turns to Ramishi and says to her "Ramishi, what do you think about this?"

"Even if he is a foe of His Percipient Magnificence, His Percipient Magnificence will have no troubles in dealing with him." says Ramishi "On the other hand, if he indeed has an important buisness with His Percipient Magnificence, we should lend him our aid until His Percipient Magnificence will decide what to do with him. In either case, it might be wise to escort him to His Percipient Magnificence's tower."

"Very well then" says Jabar after listening to Ramishi "We will escort you to His Percipient Magnificence's tower. We will lend you one of our camels. It is not apporitate for messanger to His Percipient Magnificence to approach His Percipient Magnificence's tower on foot and without an escort."

"My thanks then, noble warrior and to you as well Lady. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate this and I will mention your skillful response to his Arcane Majesty." Turanis looked at the tower shape in the distance, ~I forgot to tell Ariel how to activate the stone... it will activate soon anyway. Is that Rary's tower or a Mirage Arcana... oh well it matters little.~ He signaled his Guardian to remain here for the moment, it's ruby eyes glowing in responce.

"It is decided then" replied Jabar "We will let camels drink and rest, and then we will head toward His Magnificence's tower!"
After saying so, Jabar waved with his hand, and the men, who waited at the distance approached the oasis, leading the camels with them. Once in the oasis, Jabar's men started to unseddle and unload camels...
