From the other side of the partition curtain you can hear clattering and scurrying, as if many hard objects were being tapped repeatedly upon the floor.

A small smile meets Waldo's lips
That's a new one. Jarvin, check that floor. Geoff and I'll keep you covered. he suggested, shouldering a warhammer and keeping a keen eye

"Umm, let me admit that I'm not the biggest fan of gaint ants at all, and I don't like that sound," Valandil whispered queitly to those around him as he assumed a guard stance.

Tellyna readied lance of disruption, keeping to the rear of the party.
(Yo, wayvern, you really should get back to me on the ruby longsword I did a magic check on)

*Jarvin carefully and quietly approaches the curtain. Keeping a distance of a few feet between him and it, he searches the area in front of it for anything unusual*

***Sorry, been busy lately***
Jarvin finds nothing unusual about the floor around the curtain, he does note that the sounds are definately coming from the other side and are almost rhythmic in nature.
Well, what did you find at the base of the curtain Jarvin?

*Jarvin shakes his head* "There's nothing on this s-s-side of the c-curtain. W-w-we just have to d-deal with what's on the other s-s-side." *He cocks his head and listens again* "There's something odd about that t-t-t-tapping s-sound"

Can you give us something better than that? Something like how many targets, where they are, and about how far away? whispered Waldo, loudly Knowing things like that keep people like Geoff and me alive.

*Jarvin shakes his head and whispers back* "J-j-just that it seems like there's a k-k-kind of p-p-p-pattern... a k-kind of rhythm. L-listen, you c-c-can hear it."

Now that Jarvin's brought your attention to it, you can hear a definate rhythm to the clicking noises coming from the other side of the curtain.

Tellyna rolled her eyes at Waldo, "At least Geof harbors the brain capacity to stay alive longer than you Waldy ol' boy." She said, making sure he heard her clearly, then smirking. "Besides, if you're so smart, why don't you go over there and listen to it yourself? After all, you are the big stupid fighter person, you make a good body shield though, I'll have to admit that much." She chuckled, remaining at the rear of the party so that should anything nasty arise, they'd be the first to face it, not her.

Well, aren't any of you BRAVE enough to open the curtain? I thought this was a band of adventurers, not a flock of chickens.

The overgrown lizard's right. Geoff, let's go. muttered Waldo, hefting one axe around his hip and keeping the warhammer on his shoulder. He silently walks over to the edge of the carpet and bursts through, looking for targets.

*Jarvin's eyes glaze over for a moment as he mutters,* "The ch-ch-chickens... the horrible, horrible ch-chickens...." *He shakes his head and then peers cautiously around the edge of the curtain to see what Waldo sees*

Tellyna gave Jarvin a sympathetic look, "I still don't know why you saw chickens, I was simply playing with tinkie and my little orbs... " She sighed, shaking her head at Waldo. "I'm not moving till whatever's up there is killed or until Waldy there says there's nothing there, I for one don't feel like dying." She muttered under her breath, she hated it when the big stupid ranger fighter person did that, and made a mental note to kick him for it... And then run... Really fast...
