Lady Pandora walks into the library and thinks it beautiful indeed. She quickly finds herself a seat and listens to Lord Altaine.

Walking into the library, Fiona goes around to the many bookcases, glancing at various titles, "Stoneshape - Yours to Create", "Raising Dead", "Lord of the Rings of Protection", "Camping with Leomund's Tiny Hut", so on, and so forth ran the titles of the books. She fingered through scrolls lying haphazardly upon tables. A typical library for wizards, to the outsider it looked a sheer shambles, but to the trained eye of the magic user.........
Finding a vacant seat among the piles of books, she sat upon it and looked to the Regent for explanation.

Alerazandra sits down and smiles, "Pity, this dress was made just for the occasion. It didn't even get a chance to be on the dancefloor."

The young man sat down next to Alerazandra, "Lady Pyretic Blaze, it is a pleasure to meet you. I have heard many a story about you and your great great grandfather, but I never expected to meet you, but then again, I never expected to be invited to such a magnificent place as this." He moves a few strands of his jet black hair out of his face as he looks at her intently.

Alera smiled, "Please sir, there is no need to be sor cordial. I you may call me Alera because I know my name can be mouthful. What may your name be?"

Turanis watched the Magi file in and come to the table, he looked about gravely as he spoke. "For eight hundred years this academi has stood, ready to teach those who had the skill and determination. But five hundred years ago a demon lord known as Esedus attacked the Academi with only one thing on his mind, the destruction of this school and the capture of our most prized possession. The Nether Scrolls."

At the mention of the Nether Scrolls, Fiona's eyes turned to a deep red, and the crystal at the tip of her quarterstaff reflected the same color as her eyes. That is quite an interesting history you are relating to us Regent, but it does not tell us why the ball was cancelled, nor explain the urgency in your voice. You clearly desire something of us all Her hand sweeping across the room to encompass all those present and I, for one, do not want to be wisped around like a breeze to a lit candle.
Suddenly, Fiona's wraith hounds floated through the nearest wall to her, and stretched themselves down on either side of her chair. Their eyes glowed with intensity, and she knew they had both found healthy victims to feed upon, draining their energy slowly while energizing their own forms.

Lady Pandora takes in the information with a suprising calm manner. She thinks to herself this is going to be one hell of an adventure. " I will gladly help in anyway I can, Lord Altaine."

He looks at Turanis, "Lord Altaine, Dracon Dragonsword of the Dragonsword spellsword family will aid his magic and sword to you in anyway possible... that is if more information is given." then back at Alera and smiles as he whispers, "Perhaps there was a reason or me to be here."

Turanis looked about the group with a small smile on his face, "I need for all of you to seek out and find a powerful item thought lost during the fall of Myth Drannor, called the Orb of Shade. This artifact has unknown powers, but we know it was used to imprison the three great Nycaloth demons who escaped a 2000 years later. Fiona you would make a great infiltrator into Esedus's ranks, he is so arrogant that he would never question your joining. The other of you must go to the Ruins of Myth Drannor and find the Orb or else this very world and others may be doomed..."

Mailee stood beside Turanis quietly offering her support and ready if he needed her.

Lord Altaine, though your goal is valid, this academie, and the city itself, cannot be saved from the ravages of the undead. Your logic is flawed, for no demon, lord or not, would allow the apprentice of Keraptis himself into its ranks. Unless it desired to be destroyed of course.
Fiona rose from the cushioned chair and slowly walked the perimeter of the room. You know perfectly well what I am, and yet you would ask me to help you, when the Orb would be a great treasure for myself.
Stopping directly in front of his desk, she looked him squarely in the eyes. Sending me to Esedus would more than likely cause he and I to battle among ourselves, therefore keeping him busy enough to give you time to find the Orb. And my incentive for helping you in this fashion is................? Cocking an eyebrow at the mage, and giving him a knowing smile, Fiona wanted for his reply.

Alera smiles, and says quitely to herself, "Part of me wants to help and another part of me wants the night to continued as planned or I leave, but of course a part of me just wants to burn the place down so I can't really trust my feelings can I?" She looks at her finger and gets the urge to cast a fireball spell, "I've been taught to be a lady and not go fire crazy like my eccentric ancestor, but my family lineage will ultimately be the end of me, or leave this whole plane in ashes, either way it'd be interesting."
