Happy Anniversary to Shadow of the Dragon Gaming Forum; it will be one year old on September 21st.
The place has grown from just a few topics, to a major RPG site, with over 400 members.
So my questions are, what changes did you experience in your own life? Have things changed for you for the better, or have you gone full circle and are still in the rut you started with?
I met, online, Kaber in August 2003, so that's one year that we've had to develop from friendship into a deep love. On Dec 30,2003, we'll celebrate one year since he came to live with me. We have a loving, soulful relationship, he's a wonderful dad to my.....well we now call him our, son; and just can't see ever living without each other.
My gaming group, PA Home for Wayward Gamers, has grown from a single 2e group to 4 different groups now: 1e, 2e, 3e, 3e for teens. We've lost some members here and there, but gained others to form pretty solid gaming groups. We don't turn away interested people, so we expect the groups to grow a bit more as word gets around about us in the Pennsylvania gaming world.
All in all, I've become a very happy and stronger person. I have people around me that are sincere, friendly, respectful, respected and loving. Life has become very, very good for me. EDIT: for color

Life has been so much better for me. I left the darkend nightmare of existance I had lived so long and came into the light. I met LWW and was immediatly adopted into the family. 1 year later and I am so happy. Life is good for me now and the future can only get better. Thank you my love

Well let's see... two different jobs, survived a hurricane, lost my grandmother, my wife and I decided that we want to have a family, and we decided we want to move back near where we were raised... There has definitely been a lot...

I started my senior year of High School, went all the way out to COlorado by myself to have the most tragic event of my life happen to me, came back... hmm... Graduated, joined Mary's 2e group, found (more than likely) someone I'm going to be with for the rest of me life, got pulled over on August, Friday the 13th 2004 for the FIRST (and hopefully last) time, got a job, lost the job, determined I'm moving out of my parent's house in December, and started college, my biggest headache ever.
Yeah, I think that's quite a bit.

In one year, hmm?
RPG-wise, I stopped playing AD&D, started playing World of Darkness, decided that World of Darkness was too cynical for me and dropped that too, and put RPGing on hold because of college.
Life-wise, I finished my first year at GA Tech, gained a solid group of good friends, successfully started up my own martial arts club, changed my major, got a prestigious co-op job, focused my life's goals, found a purpose, and gained a higher understanding into the workings of the world.
