I read in a recent issue of Reader's Digest that the Libertarian party is trying to get enough members to move to one state that they'll actually have a voice in the government and provide a viable third party. Their goal is to get 20,000 libertarians to New Hampshire by 2006.
While I have my quarrels with their idealogy, I wish them success.
Let's hope some other parties follow their lead, particularly the Greens and the American Communist Party.
I volunteer my home state of Michigan for the Gradual Anarchy Party that I'm forming.

One major flaw to this plan, one state, two, three, I t won't matter. In order to have a say in Wash D.C. you have to have a power base. There is none for the Libertartians. It's congress that runs D.C. how many are libertartians. Like it or not, you have to play the games to get anywhere in D.C. Unless you got rid of them all.
No power base, no say so.
