I suddenly understand Galadon's perspectives. He only reads what he will agree with and NEVER bothers to do any extra research. Well don you for continuing the Great Bush tradition.

Let me see if I get the liberal point here. Your going to have to help out here, I have trouble following the liberal thinking. In a conversation, generally there are two point, pro and con, lets say. So I take the conservative side. No secret there. Since I take the conservative side that means I don't research any liberal points of view. This is the liberal part, I have to present both side of the conversation and argue both sides. Conservatives call that talking to yourself. What do liberals call it.

First off, I would never call myself a liberal. Moderate with left policy leanings maybe. Right when it comes to economic policy, but liberal? I don't think so.
Secondly, quoting form the Enquirer, oh sorry, the Town Hall, hardly counts as an informed opinion. I'm not even going to bother arguing it, cos it's just that rediculous.

The best way to aurgue any point is to study BOTH sides so you are ready to counter that persons opinion.

You are free to have ANY opinion you want, as long as you dont FORCE your views on others.

The UN is about as corrupt as any large bureaucratic body. That is to say that yes, there is corruption in the UN, the same as you'll find pretty much anywhere else including all of our own govey's. And, like our own govey's, when the corruption goes public, there's a witchhunt and lots of people lose their jobs. Some most deservedly and some not. Such is the way of all bureaucracy.

As I said, the UN is cleaning its own house, same as any govey body. Tossing out a system because of the abuses of the few is massive overreaction.

An off-duty officer could face charges after hitting and killing a 19-year-old pedestrian with his car in Detroit Sunday, Local 4 reported.
Marvin Shaina , of Sterling Heights, was killed in the crash, which occurred at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday, Local 4 reported. The Detroit officer lost control and hit the teenager, who was walking along a curb in the area of the Interstate 75 service drive and Park Street, according to police.
The 9th Precinct officer, whose name was not released, stayed at the scene.
"A breathalyzer was administered, and it appears that the driver of the vehicle blew above the legal limit," said Detroit Police Deputy Chief James Tate.
The officer was taken into custody, according to reports. He is expected to be arraigned Monday afternoon.
Shaina's family said their son worked in Greektown and was returning to his car when he was killed.
