I guess the other failures don't bother you too much then. Fair enough I suppose. If you can rewrite history to match your view of the world, why not rewrite current affairs too?
I see how unimportant Bin Laden is when you have to be fingerprinted when traveling through the States now. Amazing how unimportant he is. Only cost you how many billions of dollars to not catch him?

Just went back and read the other post.
Huh? Took a long time? I posted the same day you did. What are you blathering about now? Sorry, but I actually have a job so I don't get to watch when people post and answer immedietely. Same day service is about as good as it gets around here.
But, again, all this is way off topic. My point was, Sowell has taken a collection of "facts" and strung them together in such a blatantly biased fashion that it's meaningless.

"Real life"? Is English your second language or something? I didn't say that. I said I had a job and couldn't answer immedietly after you posted. You're the one who said I took oh so long to reply. Never said you didn't have a life. Just that I can't be on and reply all the time. Never mind the 15 hour time difference between me and North America. Tends to make my online times somewhat wonky.
Oh, and just for the record, I've owned and operated my own small business for the past two years or so. So, yes, I suppose I've got a liberal job since conservatives seem too busy making sure that unwed mothers on welfare don't have enough money to feed their children to bother trying to actually add to the economy.

Just trying to talk like a liberal. Jumping to conclusions, putting words in peoples mouth, coming up with the most outlandish things to say. How am I doing, other than the fact I haven't found a liberal dictionary yet. On another subject, had to stop laughing first, your buddy and demorat leader Charlie Rangle tossed out a blurb on Social Security. This what make's being a conservative so fun. Demorats say funny things and then later try to explain it. he he he

Ok, Gal, see, the trick is, I'm neither American nor a liberal, so trying to link my politics with an American politician is pointless.
The truly funny thing is that you've deplored the Left's tactics and used them at the same time. That simply makes you yet another Republican hypocrite incapable of pulling your head out of the partisan morass in which you swim. I couldn't possibly care less about partisan politics in America. Any more than you could care less about partisan politics in Canada. If you have a point, make it, otherwise, continue spouting off needlessly and I'll go talk to someone who can actually discuss an issue.
Throughout this thread you have not made a single defense of your position, simply attacked other positions. So, effectively, you've given up on trying to justify your position in any terms other than as a reaction to others. The needless gainsaying of others is not discussion. It's boring.
I used to find you somewhat amusing since you actually could, once in a while, make a point. Now you're just paroting the party line and, well, if I wanted that, I'd watch CNN. I wash my hands of this and until such time as you want to actually discuss something, I'm not going to bother any more.

Oh come now, I know that. But you see you can find liberals in different countries. Just because your in another country doesn't mean Charile Rangle isn't one of your leaders.
In America it's Demorats
In England it's the Labor party ect, ect.
Different country different name that's all. Liberals are the same all over the planet. If you want me to find a person who acts just like Rangle in your country that will be easy. But one would wonder why, it's the same banter and same result.

Actually, that's fairly true recently in Canada too. The Liberal party has become slightly right of center in the past decade.
Still waiting for a defense Gal.

The pressure, agh, feeling like a field goal kicker for the San Diego Chargers.
You have to have watch games in the NFL to understand that one.

A fine example of liberal speak, Your fact are all correct but your still wrong. Amazing, and liberals wonder why they will continue to slide down to the point of being below third party status. That was partly an attack on my post, so I think a response is necessary from me. Here's how your facts can be correct, but the conclusions you draw from them can be totally off. Jeffrey Dahmer drank orange juice. Jeffrey Dahmer was a murderer. Both of those are facts. One could draw many possible conclusions from those two facts such as: 1) Drinking orange juice causes you to be a murderer. Or one could more accurately conclude: 2) A wide variety of people, including murderers, drink orange juice; however, there is no proven causal link between the drinking of orange juice and the behavior of murder.
