Has anyone played the demo for this yet? This one's developed by Planet Moon and released by LucasArts. For an action adventure game, there is definitely a LOT of off-kilter humor going on.

If you have a Xbox, the latest OXM has it on the demo disc. It's an action game, but the comedic elements are the big selling point to me. One of the cut scenes is a parody of Han finding Luke frozen on Hoth (a nod to their publisher, no doubt). Three of the party find their fourth companion freezing and near death on the grounds of compound they just stormed. Instead of slicing open the belly of a nearby "dead" beast, the robot knight of the party rams the frostbite victim up the "dead" beast's backside... and hilarity ensues. Other touches include random comments from the party members during game play as well as odd names for weapons and locations. I think the Vindaloo rocket launcher was a nod at Red Dwarf, myself. The Topsy Turvy Bomb has to be seen to be believed. www.lucasarts.com/products/armedanddangerous/

Finally scraped together the dough to go out and buy myself a copy of the game. It's a little short, but has lots of replay value in the form of unlockable cheats you can discover by collecting all sorts of strange odd & ends in each stage.
The lead characters are Rome, a masked bandit, Jonesy, an irritable Scottish mole miner, and Q, a tea-sipping gentleman combat robot. There are two types of gameplay involved. One is a straight third person run & gun, the other is clearly derived from the old Space Invaders game, where you, as Rome, command a rail-mounted gunpod used to mow down waves of oncoming half-beast grunt soldiers.
