I just heard that this is coming out in a couple of weeks. I was a really big fan of the first three, too. This one, apparently, is in full 3-d, you can make yourself an avatar, and there is online play if you want it. If you pay a subscription, you can even get updates like new islands and such. Anyone else play the Myst games?

Whoa! I didn't even know Myst 4 had even been concieved yet, nevermind soon ready to hit the market! I must be really behind the comp gaming times. I love the Myst games. Beautiful scenery, puzzles, and a (usually somewhat interesting) plot. What more could you ask for?

Small correction: it isn't myst 4, per se. It is set in the same universe but in the present, 200 years later than the other 3. It's called Uru: Ages Beyond Myst, so it really isn't ub the series exactly. Also, it seems that Cyan (the company that made the first two, and made the games famous) is going to contract out the rest of the Myst series, and work exclusively on Uru, and whatever is in the future for other "online" Myst games.

Yes, Riven and Exile were released on regular CDs. Try online stores or ebay if you can't find one in your local store.
