I just got Halo Combat evolved for PC. It has good graphics...i think anyway. I hear there're not as good as those on XBOX. But i like playing it anyway. it's a good game so far. I'm planning on beating by the end of this weekend. i'll try to post more on it then.

That's unlikely, considering that there is very little difference code-wise. An Xbox is PC hardware (and Windows kernal) stripped down and tweaked exclusively to play games. Graphically, they should be the same.
The PC version has a few things added to it that we didn't get on the Xbox, though. For instance, the flamethrower. I think you also got some new variants of the Warthog, too.

Graphically, they should be the same. Actually, graphically the PC should be better, simply because your monitor has a higher resolution than a television screen. I don't know anything about Halo Combat, but generally PC games look better (cleaner and sharper) than their console equivalents.

the added features or the PC version only take effect in multi player but the PC doesn't have a co-op story mode

But the Xbox is designed with higher resolution in mind, particularly HDTV 1080i.

Just got this game myself. Had a heck of a time getting it to run on my computer, which was annoying as heck. The only way it will run is if I boot the computer with nothing running in the background. This thing is a memory hog. Annoying 'cos my 'puter is pretty top of the line - P4 2.3, great video and sound. Microsoft is annoying.
Gameplaywise, the story is cool. Lots of fun. Fairly easy so far, but I imagine that will change.
Multiplayer, it plays more like Quake:Arena than anything else. I'm a little disappointed actually. I was hoping for a more tactical game like Half-life. Actually, multiplayer, I would say that Halflife and Counterstrike are superior to Halo.

Then yes, Halo played with an HDTV would look better than on the PC, but it's still limited by the resolution of the television/monitor so a regular TV would probably look worse than an ordinary monitor.
