At least, I think so.
Decent singles, great album cuts like "Having a Blast", "Chump", the quirky little hidden track, and "FOD". It actually sounds more punk than their indie label albums; Kerplunk and the varous albums that comprise 1,001 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours feel kind of sleepy, while this is very energetic.

I would have to agree with you. That is my favorite Green Day album. I have it all memorized actually and "Chump" is my favorite song.

yeah dookie is one of the finest albums ever...if you enjoy huge steaming piles of feces.
greenday made a song called pulling teeth......On kill 'em all, cliff did pulling teeth, and his ruled all, and still rules anything and everything

I like Metallica too ( Master of Puppets is on my 10 albums you must listen to before you die list), but I still like Dookie a lot. Green Day is one of my absolute favorite bands.
