Here is comes, another Valentine's day (Feb 14th), so what will it mean to you? Usually it's a day of dread for me, no one to love or love me back, but this year is different, for Kaber and I are together. We've found our soul mates in each other, and don't intend to ever let go of each other either. Yep, nice feeling.
We plan on having dinner at our favorite Japanese restaurant, then going home, putting on the fireplace, spreading out a king-sized quilt and pillow. I've got this pink sheer outfit, with black lace to wear for him, and...........well, you get the picture.

*laughs slightly*
My friend and I, Betsy, we have long distance relationships the both of us, but we act like we're each other's partner while we're stuck here. So Saturday night I'm taking her to dinner at The Wild Scallion, and they have this deal where you go there, then go off to this playhouse for dessert and get to see a play, usually a comedy. That's what we're doing. Getting all dressed up, I alreayd got her chocolates and a card, and Sat I'll get the roses. Fun stuff.

Well, considering my last serious relationship ended about two and a half years ago, nothing much. I don't brood over it, though. Feb-14 will be just another Saturday to me (spent at the office ).

I'll probably just be sitting in my dorm all day. Most of my friends are home for the weekend. My roommate even drove home this morning to be with his girlfriend (I'm in GA and he lives in NY - he's that insane).

I spent all of my Valentine's Day happily making money off of the multitude of couples who came in to make teddy bears (and monkeys and pigs and turtles...) at Build-a-Bear Workshop. Work gets the bills paid.

For me Valentines Day is not a happy day. My wife and I never celebrated it in the first place because she used to work in a Greenhouse and used to see just how much thought some people put into it (could you see the sarcasm?), but now it has a different meaning for us. It is the anniversary of my Nana's passing and her Grandfathers passing as well. So it is a night where we do have some drinks and a nice homemade italian dinner, but it is in rememberance. My wife loves it because then I make fresh pasta, but that's a different story.

Bah. I got no one, and the one I want is inaccessable. The TV show about the St. Valentine's Day Massacre was fun though I did figure that if my day was gonna suck, then at least someone else's should be good, so I babysat for my sister and her husband so they could go out and have a night on the town. No point in everyone suffering.
