This is an off-site game at MassPBeM. Any takers? Lewd is in already...
1. What game are you running (D&D, CoC, Palladium, etc.), and if applicable what edition (Original, Classic, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 10th, etc.)?
3.0 DND rules are the flavor of this game.
2. What 'type' or variant of game will it be (i.e. "Shadow Chasers" or "Agents of Psi" for d20 Modern)? When and where will the game be set?
It is Pulp Fantasy such as Dick Tracey. The game will be on the new forum.
3. How many Players are you looking for?
The game is for four players.
4. What's the gaming medium (PBMB, chat, e-mail etc.)?
The game is forum based.
5. What is the characters' starting status (i.e. experience level)?
The starting level is third level.
6. How much gold or other starting funds will the characters begin with?
The wealth rules are taken from d20 modern. It is not a big issue for this game.
7. Are there any particular character classes, professions, orders, etc. that you want... or do not want? What are your rules on 'prestige' and/or homebrewed classes?
See the below links for the free PDF.
8. What races, sub-races, species, etc. are allowed for your game? Will you allow homebrewed races or species? 'Prestige' races or species?
Human only...
9. By what method should Players generate their attributes/ability scores?
You can assign 85 points to the full range of stats.
10. Does your game use alignment? What are your restrictions, if so?
You can play any alignment. However, I will shoot a lightening bolt comprised of pure spam through your chaotic evil character if you are being disruptive to the game.
11. Do you allow multi-classing, or have any particular rules in regards to it?
Yes, multiclassing is allowed. Read the PDF and the links for the available classes.
12. Will you be doing the entire die rolling during the course of the game? Will die rolls be altered, or left to the honor system?
I will roll everything except the attack rolls. Attack rolls are to be made with the honor system. The irony.com server can be used as well as the die roller Cole provides on the main webpage if you desire a certified die roll.
13. Are there any homebrewed rules or optional/variant rules that your Players should know about?
Naked chics are immune to grapple checks. In other words, there are no special rules to worry about in the game.
14. Is a character background required? If so, how big should the background be? Are you looking for anything in particular (i.e. the backgrounds all ending up with
The characters in the same city)?
A good background makes for a good character.
15. Does your game involve a lot of hack & slash, puzzle solving, role-playing, or a combination of the above?
All of the above are involved in this game.
16. Are you’re Players restricted to particular rulebooks and supplements, or will you be allowing access to non-standard material? What sources can Players use for their characters?
The free PDF is linked below... Use that... ..and use the rsources in the other links.
