"See Crista? Even Torchy Ignitius thinks it's a good plan. Well, it don't taste like chicken or beef, but it ain't near as bad as Roper or Owlbear. Tastes similar to gnoll, I guess." Looking around at everyone Garth looks confused - "What? Oh like none of you have ever been dared to do something."

Kyle looks over at Tal smiling and chuckling lightly.
"Were I come from... A dragon is weak..."
He scratch's the side of his horse's neck then continues.
"A simple farmer could kill a dragon with the weapons I have seen used... And a god? A few of our more powerful weapons could take them down... Still with mear commoners using them..."
He then silenced himself... He did not wish to share anymore information about his home relm here... No telling who could be listening in.

*Crista let all the talk flow around her, but paid it no mind, except the news from the parchment. Missions done by the Guild were hard enough, but harder still with bounties on their heads.....and who or what was Clenna?*
*She spurred her horse onward, and expected the rest to follow. That was that. No more delays along the way, and the sun was just setting as Crig's Crag came in view. Immense boulders lay on top of each other, some forming alcoves which could be used as shields from the weather, or places of hiding for ambush.*
*Various sounds of the night reached her keen ears, and she knew there were creatures out there waiting for them to make the mistake of staying in the darkness.* Garth, move up ahead and make sure we've got no company awaiting us.
*She passed on word to the others that they would be making camp as soon as Garth returned, and gave them the go ahead. The mages needed to rest to regain their spells, and she wanted to check on Kyle's arm, and learn more about this lad. "Comes from a land of dragonbanes, does he? Now that is interesting to know." She smiled, knowing he could prove more useful then she first thought.*

Kyle followed without any argument and tried his best to catch up.
"Crista, you wanted to speak with me about something before we were attacked? What was it?"

How be yer arm Kyle? But aye, wanted to talk with ye about what ye were seeking, and why did ye come to me? *She was able to discern his face in the dark, but he was keeping it unreadable, so what was he hiding from her, and why/*

As the party continues riding, Ignitius decides to comment on something Tal said. "Oh really? Some drunken bum in a tavern says he whooped Ignitius DePyre, heheheh? Ye do git a lot of those, do ya? But, if ya goes around trustin' every strange feller in a black cloak ya meets, then I ain't surprised ya wound up in the Abyss, heheheh..."
Soon the sun sets and everything is quite dark. The party prepared to make camp. And camp meant... campfires!!! The mad genasi chuckles with glee at the thought of burning something. He then remembers the numerous saddle sores his horse-riding experiences gave him, and winced slightly.
"There's only one thingy horsies are good for, heheheh, and that's sovereign glue.", Ignitius thinks to himself. The cackle in his mind escapes in a rather disturbing, yet mirthful, chuckle.

Kyle glanced over at her and smiled lightly; even in the dark his eyes could be seen twinkling.
"I travel around seeking skills in different aspect's of life... I have been a soldier, a mercinary, a cut throat, a Knight, I was even a pirate at one point... I guess now I'm a theif... And I was somewhat intreged by you when I got into the guild house."
He sighed and layed forwards on his horse trying to get a bit of rest before they made camp... The less tired he was the less sleep he would need.

"And how be it you've inherited so many titles for so young a lad? Or does it make it easier to woo the ladies with your tales? Intrigued by me, poor Crista, aye, you've a silver tongue indeed."
*She noticed his tiredness, and hoped it was not due to loss, or poisoning, of blood* Kyle, we all be wanting a rest, but can't be sleeping yet, not till Garth gives us the good word."

Garth trots on ahead, believing he is merely thinking to himself, in reality he's muttering to himself. "Yep. She's sending the 'A' team to the front now."
Garth has his sword out and scouts on ahead, staying to the side of the road - This time only thinking to himself: Stay off the main drag - keep a clear eye - be quiet - Tal sure seems happy with that ball and chain around his neck...wonder if he's charmed or something - focus - Hey! What's that?

"Tales? I'm afraid no matter how much you would like to believe it I am not lieing…”
He yawned and let his eyelids drift up and down while maintaining his awareness.
“I am cursed to live Crista and have done everything on that list and then some… I may not have been very good at any of it but I can guarantee you I have done that…”
He shut his eyes completely and opened his senses up to the world and let them stretch out into the wilderness, listening to every bird, insect, and movement that happened around him.
“Life is to short for some to really get anything done… Well I have all the time that ever will be…”
He got up from his layiing position and got out the herbs that had been given to him earlier by the mage before he undid the bundle and took a small portion of the mixture in his hand. Then spat into it, before pasting it between his fingers taking another smell to make sure the powerdery substances had been absorbed into the mixture.
He lifted the bandage and found the wound was not bleeding badly now and he harshly forced the salve over and into the wound gasping lightly as he did so.
“Well that’s one thing I’ll never get used to… Good ol’ pain.”
He chuckled to himself and tore off the bloody parts of the bandage before rewrapping the wound and continuing on.

Tal shakes his head at Kyle's nonsense.. then turns to his wife..
"Never argue with a crazy man.. I shall concern myself no more with his wellfare.. personally I am having a hard time telling who's the more cracked.. him or Iggy."
Tal begins setting up the his and Alyssa's tent and immediate area..

*All Garth finds at the boulder site is the remains of an old fire, about two weeks old, and some rubbish scattered about that scavengers even thought to useless to take notice of. He should be signaling to the party that all is clear.*
*Crista spurs her horse onward, and calls back to the others that camp is to be made.* "The mages and Kyle need to rest, Keely will prepare supper (remember that weasel she killed?), Tal, tend to our horses....Garth and I will take the first 4 hour watch."
*Getting off her horse at the Crag, she handed the reins up to Tal, and made her way to Garth*

Alyssa follows the others on their ride to Crig's Crag. Listening carefully to their conversations, and watching them to get a better insight into each of them.
Just before arriving there, Crista sends Garth to scout the site. Alyssa listens to his mumblings shaking her head, and thinking *A team my ass, this is gonna be a bloody long trip* with a heavy sigh, she continues looking around the area, while waiting for Garth to finish his task.
Once the all clear signal is given, she dismounts, and takes care of her horse for the night. After this task is done she pulls an apple from one of her pouches and gives it to the stead, rubbing him between the eyes. She whispers to him once again, the only thing able to be heard by anyone, is the horses answering nicker.
Alyssa then sets off to find where Tal put their tent, and notices that he placed it a bit away from the others. Shaking out her bedroll, in front of the tent, she sits down, munching on some jerky, and dried fruit, she took from her pouch.
She then sets to reading through her spell book, waiting for her husband to finish tending the other horses.

"Whoa, whoa, hold on there, heheheh...", Ignitius says as he notices the dwarf break out the flint and tinder, "Leave this one to th' expert, heheheh..."
With a snap of his fingers and a movement of his will, Iggy ignites the kindling and, sure enough, a smallish fire erupts. Maybe not quite as small as would have been preferred, but a fire's a fire, at least to Iggy.
"Take that, vile kindlin'!!! Heheheh... Now THAT'S a fire!"
Ignitius leans back and gazes into the flame, chuckling to himself contentedly.
